Hello!

We are looking for help regarding what we guess is a bug. Been trying to see if anyone had the same problem but we can't seem to find anyone with the same problem (or at least someone did, but no responses..)

Basically, my boyfriend bought the game so we could play together, I'm a huge fan thanks to my dad and was excited to make him try!
Problem is, when his game starts, it loads what I assume is the opening scene of the main story (I never exeprienced it, my dad owns the game and he started before me) and then loops that opening scene.
Shows the first island up close with some buildings and then end ups on a farm only to loop back from the start. It also starts zooming out the more we let it run and then crashes the entire game.

We have no idea why it's doing that and are running out of options..
He seems to have all of the system requirements to play on low settings, owns it on Ubisoft connect and uses DX11 because DX12 just crashes everything as well.
He also already uninstalled and reinstalled the game since Ubisoft Connect didn't want to launch the game anymore after the game crashed twice..

If anyone could help us find a solution, that would be amazing. Otherwise, our very last option is the Ubisoft support I guess.

Thank you for reading and thank you in advance for trying to help us!

We don't know what it is, he has the choice between 3 things when clicking play, Anno and what we assumed is Dx11 and Dx12. I play on Steam so I never had those, could this be the problem then? Should he launch "Anno 1800" and not the other two? That's what we were planning to do once he finishes reinstalling the game once again

Yes, "Anno 1800" launches the game, while the other 2 are benchmarks. Hope you two get it to run - have fun! :)
