Hello,
I've been looking some videos of guys playing the game. Although i don't understand all the game complexity yet, i really like how it looks and some of its game mechanics.
I would like to try the game but i don't know which one is the best. I'm more attracted to futuristic but i also don't want to buy one of the failure of the franchise.
Do you have any advice ?
External link →If you greatly prefer sci-fi, I would recommend 2205, which still looks great and is the easiest Anno to get into for beginners. It’s true that it is somewhat controversial in the community, but most of the reasons for that won’t apply to you as a first timer anyways :)
If the setting is less important, I would recommend 1800, because I think it is always great to join a very active community, which means that you will always find someone to ask for help or to be excited with for future content.
