[2023] I didn't receive a gift from my friend

sadly, only the EA Support can help with issues like this, as we don't have access to account details here on the forum. As this issue arose two months ago, it might actually be too long ago for even EA Support to help with.

 

If you notice that an E-Mail is stuck at EA Support, try waiting a few hours before creating a new case, in case that is causing the problem.

that thread was in regard to a specific bug, from November, which was cleared months ago and has nothing to do with your case, which happened after. Sadly, that means we cannot help you with this.
