[2023] Account progression lost

This happens if you unlink an account, as your progress is saved on the original EA account where it was first earned.

 

This is mentioned in a disclaimer whenever an account is unlinked, but we have some additional information about it below as well.

Do you play Apex?

If you unlink a platform account that you use to play Apex Legends, you may have issues with Battle Pass leveling, item unlocks, and other errors.

 

Instead of unlinking and relinking a platform account you play Apex on, it may be better to start fresh on a new account.

You can try re-linking the original accounts to restore your progress, but if you run into any trouble with that you'll need to reach out to support for assistance.

 

If you create a new case here and select Game Support > The EA app > I want to update my EA Account information, you should be able to get in touch with the support team so they can assist further.
