Hi @SaucyBoyFin

Let's take a look and see if we can help stop this from happening.

First, I am curious what would happen if you start your PC in a Clean Boot before launching Apex Legends. If there's something else running that might be related to the issue that could help narrow it down.

For more info on how you can set up a Clean Boot check out the EA Help website. Once you have the chance to give it a shot please let me know how it goes. Thanks!

Thanks for giving it a shot!

When you've got the chance could you share a DxDiag so we can take a look? For more info on how to pull one up check out the EA Help website. Once you have the text file please attach it to this thread. Thanks!

@SaucyBoyFin

Much appreciated!

Have you had the chance to try setting a different DNS in Windows to see if that makes any difference? I've spoken with some people in the past who have said it has helped with similar issues.

You can change the DNS through the Windows TCP/IP Settings. For more info on how to get there check out the Microsoft Support website. Choosing the Manual option will let you enter a DNS of your choosing.

I typically go with the public Google DNS (Primary DNS: 8.8.8.8; Secondary DNS: 8.8.4.4.), but I've also heard that using the Cloudflare DNS resolver can also help (Primary DNS: 1.1.1.1).

Let me know if you're still running into any disconnections or other issues after that. Thanks!

Hey @SaucyBoyFin

Apologies for the late reply on this.

Did you also try flushing your DNS to see if that makes any difference? I've seen a few people mention recently that it's helped with some similar issues. You can flush the DNS using the steps below:

1. Press the Windows key + R to open the Run command.

2. Type CMD in the field and click OK to open the Command Prompt

3. Type in the command ipconfig /flushdns and press Enter

Let me know if you're still getting the same issues afterward. Thanks!
