Do you happen to have Dizzy's pov? It's impossible to say; it's just as likely Path flew in on a grapple, which I've seen more than not. Regardless, I've an open issue with our audio folks to consider in-air acoustics. Not just for Path grapples; even generally, players falling should realistically have some tell (eg. Lifeline's pants rustling).

A whole team shouldn't be able to roll up behind a player just because distant and slightly muted explosions are going off. It isn't consistent or fun to play against. Fun should be the primary focus of game design, not realism.

Also I initially clipped this because the reaction was funny, no rage meant to be directed at you <3.

I'd regard this as a subjective example or not definitely a bug. The bombardment missiles are no less distant than players coming up a ramp that is out of LoS.

Regardless, I've suggested to our audio folks that I'd like to hear our characters more than from foot falls alone (eg. gear movement). Impossible to say if that would have increased the sonics enough in this case.

Dmed you, but for anyone else--the silent devotion bug has been around for a while

Silent devotion is definitely an outstanding issue.
