Yep! It includes loot in nearby loot bins and deathboxes
Oh? I was under the impression that loot doesn't spawn inside a bin until it's opened, so the Ult wouldn't detect anything from a closed bin. Or maybe the loot is in there but just doesn't visually render until opened...
The loot has always been selected at the start of a match. We've never had "Schrödinger's loot" and that's not changing for season 5 AFAIK.
(On the technical side, the loot models spawn on demand for optimization reasons. When a Loba is nearby, the loot she can see using her passive spawns. When the bin is opened or a Loba staff is placed nearby, all of the loot spawns. But the actual selection of what loot will spawn occurs during the character select screen.)
