Do you play on console, by any chance? And if so, did you recently unlink and then relink your account?

Apex Legends has always had issues when you unlink and then relink your account. If you unlink your Xbox again and link it back to the original EA account is was attached to, there's a good chance that you'll get both your progress back, and that the game will fix itself (Although it's not 100% guaranteed).
