The behavior and spoiled attitude by pros on Twitter and on streams are not helping their case at all for respawn to focus a bit more on them at the high level and not the majority player base.
Yes they are some concerns about the new LP system but most consensus is that it’s too forgiving now most pros instead of articulating this point in a well structured manner and providing solutions to what they think is the problem are acting like spoiled children’s.
Let’s contrast two different views the rank designer responded here asking for feedback he was given feedback persons provided calculations to how the systems can be fixed to reward higher placement and discourage early fighting but reward those who die early at later rounds. Now if we go on Twitter all we see are pros complaining no solution just complaining you even have pros telling their community to game the system in hopes of forcing respawns hands.
Imagine being a professional player and you telling people to do that in what game do pros actively try to create open stride between them and the developers. This isn’t good for them, respawn knows where the money is and it’s not with pros or streamers it’s with little Timmy who logs on each day for 3 hours and logs off back again.
They stopped playing tank for realm and that did nothing to the player base, EA reported that they had one of the best seasons last season in terms of player numbers and revenue and active players
Their tweets are not helping the game it’s not helping them and all it’s doing is making the casuals hate them more and it’s actively pushing the developers to not want to deal with them.
