Do you have login verification currently enabled on your account? I've seen some similar cases where this can happen when login verification is active.
If you're comfortable with it you can try temporarily disabling login verification to see if you're able to log into the EA Account in Apex Legends. If it works, you can then reactivate login verification and you should be good to go. Just to be extra safe it might be a good idea to change the EA Account password before disabling login verification, if you decide to give that a try. You can find more information on how to reset the password on the EA Help website. The login verification on the account can be disabled through the EA Account Security Settings.
