[2023] Linking new Steam account

Hey @friendlystick,

Unfortunately an EA account is only able to be linked with one of another type of account in its lifetime, so if you've linked a Steam account previously, you won't be able to link a new one. We have an article with a bit more information here:

You may still be able to access your save data if you launch the game through the EA app however, as progress carries over between the two platforms.

You should still be able to play with your optimized config files via the app, that shouldn't be an issue.
