[2019] How to improve Apex ping system

Apex ping system is masterpiece praised by many. I think it's really well done.

That said, I can think about some improvements that Respawn didn't implement (yet) probably because there is an exponential cost in voice acting for this feature (number of heroes * number of barks needed).

1. Better equipment: Very often I already got a piece of equipment but i am looking for a better one (let's say a sniper optic which actually zoom instead of a mid range optic that I've already equipped) but I have no way to ask for it. So I think that pressing the ping button while having the mouse over a piece of equipement should request for a better one (and it could be locked once a purple item is found).
2. I've got Item X in my backpack: How many times do you carry a hop up item or accelerant or other item that you don't have a direct use for but carry just in case. It would love to be able to say to my teammate that I carry a specific piece of equipment without having to droping it on the ground. Again, pinging it could say "I've got Item X" or "Item X, in my backpack"
3. Ultimate Status: Something already existing in moba/mmo: pinging your ultimate icon could voice out it's status: "Zipline ready", "Care Package charging" and even "Rolling Thunder almost ready".
4. Enemies ultimate reaction: Using the reaction button when witnessing an enemy ability or ultimate could be a nice addition (lower priority that the previous ones). "Careful, rolling thunder incoming ! ", "I just got scanned by bloodhound" etc ...
5. Life and Shield requests: Lastly, I learned thanks to the comments that you can request for health/shield by using the consumables wheel on empty items. But it could be a nice addition to also support it in the inventory similarly to request for any piece of equipment you don't have yet (press you ping key while having the mouse over the equipment slot you require or over the weapons for ammo request). Our legends would ask for health or shield when having the mouse over the corresponding bar and pressing the ping button. To make it easier the area supported could be bigger than the actual size of the life/shield bar. Sometimes when you play with Lifeline you want health even if you have some in your inventory.
