Hi! To reduce the price further, there are two things you can cut back on: the items on the sub, and (probably more importantly) the total volume of the hulls of the sub. So in addition to removing some items, you may need to make the submarine smaller to be able to start a campaign with it. If you don't want to do that, you can also play the campaign with the default sub for a while until you can buy a bigger sub.

This restriction only applies to singleplayer campaign, so in multiplayer and in mission mode, you should be able to start with whichever sub you choose.

This restriction only applies to singleplayer campaign, where the starting sub is restricted to allow the campaign to play out like it is intended. In every other game mode, you are free to choose your submarine!

in addition, some paths are very narrow or curved. It is necessary that, when building levels, the game understands and takes into account the size of the submarine, that the game does not create main routes along which the selected submarine cannot pass.

Some of the ice spawning on the way is a part of the environment overhaul, and you'll have to either avoid or destroy the ice to progress. There are now also intentionally smaller paths that you can't traverse with the submarine, and there are several paths through a level, not just one. Do you think that might explain some of the tight passages you saw?
