Late comer to the crowd, some ss13 friends recommended a video to me, downloaded and played through the tutorial, game seems fun but the singleplayer/ai mode is pretty annoying since ai crew runs off the second you leave them alone and are constantly drowning while I'm just trying to get power up.
Any servers, groups of english speaking people up and running looking for another idiot to help smash their sub into rocks?
External link →I wouldn't say that it has been abandoned, just the devs don't have much motivation to put lots of work into it because of the low pop player base. We need a post to appear on /r/gaming, that might be a good boost to player count.
I haven't abandoned the game and not intending to do so. The development is this slow due to the fact that I'm the only dev working on the game, and I'm can't do it full-time (even though I'd like to) because I also have a day job and a couple of other projects going on.
That pesky life getting in the way of things huh. But in all seriousness its brilliant that work is still being done, would you consider making a post here when there is an update?
Sure! I don't really visit Reddit that often but I think I could start making a post when I release an update. You might also want to subscribe to the blog @ http://undertowgames.com/ if you want to get email notifications about new blog posts (I usually announce every major update in the blog, and there are also posts about upcoming features every now and then).
