@EricSankeyArt That's a good question! D-9341 was initially supposed to be a silent protagonist - I felt making him speak would've created a sort of disconnect between you and the character, breaking the illusion of you being in his shoes ...
@EricSankeyArt ... We made an exception with SCP-012, because the event kind of required some dialog. In hindsight that probably wasn't the best choice, and I'd probably do it differently if I was designing the event now.
