We all know the greatest hits like "I want uniform X", "how about vehicle Y?", "can't wait to get faction Z" as well as "we need map XY in country YX". Don't get me wrong: it's totally fine, if you care for and like those things, I hope you get what you want, as long as they are not a detriment to the gameplay.

I just wanted to offer the other perspective: I am totally indifferent to the setting and the authenticity of BFV. I don't really know about specific uniforms, faction based weapons or vehicles and some weirdly specific battle that might have been part of an American movie in the 1950s. And I don't care. Give me weird customisations, interesting weapons, neat vehicles and any map, that looks and plays cool, even if it is not a well known battle. I'm here for the gameplay, not for a history lesson.

Thanks for reading. Have a great day. :)

Btw.: I actually think that it is important to know about WW2. I learned about it in school, read books, seen documentaries and all that. But this is a game that takes a lot of liberties and does not try to make a political or humanistic statement.

I honestly don't care either. I know it's not historically accurate, I know it's not supposed to be based on famous WW2 battles and that it focuses on lesser known battles and I know that I really enjoy the squad play and the gun play in this game.

I'm pretty happy with BF V.
