[2019] Hey mods enough with the selective censorship pls

Title.

Either moderate consistently or don't moderate consistently, but selecting posts that trigger you isn't cool.

Posts like this doesn't help, not only because they will most likely ignore, But because this can be viewed as a "low effort post"

As I mentioned above it's not low effort, I attempted to contact them directly via PM and was ignored by all of them. I waited more than long enough for them to have time, watched them posting in threads, nothing. So I posted this because they are being badmins and something needs to be said.

However, it's clear, and this is the reason I posted this, that the actual rules do not actually apply. They let tons of 'low effort posts' slide, but might poke this one for it. The delete plenty of things that don't break any rules, so anything is fair game. The rules are meaningless.

Once again. We don't censor posts. Not even going to get into it this time. Been through this conversation already. If you think we censor posts you surely don't visit this sub very often.

We don't delete ModMail, pretty much for situations like these and it helps to have the records of who contacts us for what reason. ModMail archives messages either manually or automatically depending on the type of message. I can confirm that we have no message from you RE posts or comments in the past week or so.

But to follow up, we do not censor and the rules here are pretty simple. We are as lenient a group as you will find on reddit, especially given how volatile this community has been lately.

This guy likes us just fine

So how do you balance that? By doing the best you can, we have coverage throughout the day here but we cannot be everywhere 24/7. Memes have very strict removal rules, as do rants. If you're being an ass to someone else that is probably going to removed too. If we have 10 of the same kind of reaction posts, we are probably going to remove 9 of the others and let the most upvoted one stay. If you see something that you think violates the rules, help us out and report and we go from there.

I have seen your posts on here and by and large you are helpful and I can tell you care about the community and this game. But I simply do not agree with your assertion here that we are censoring anyone.

Well you're suggesting that if I'm familiar with the sub then I would knwo you don't censor posts, and that's kinda the point of this post - you let most things slide, but just a select few get deleted with no apparent rhyme or reason.

Deleting a post is not censoring in all cases.

They all get deleted for very specific reasons. If you don't understand why, then you can ask us, instead of accusing us of censoring. Which, categorically, we do not do.

There is always a reason. Always. We dont just remove stuff because we just feel like removing stuff.
