For Devastation, making sure you spawn safely was quite a challenge due to the limited space and high player density. I ended up basically going with a system where it will spawn you as far ahead as it possibly can without you:

  1. Having an enemy near you
  2. Being in LoS of an enemy within a pretty long distance

What that means though is that sometimes you can end up pretty far back. Especially if the C flag is the only one you can spawn on (and A and B are both surrounded by combat and enemies and stuff), like in your video.

Maybe I went too far with it though... Do you think so? Would you rather spawn in danger than spawn too far away?

you know what's a pain in the arse?

Spawning on the base as a defender on hannut.

No vehicles, no other spawn points.

Just you and the 300 run you have to take to get to any objective

Which base? The one's on the left and right side of the map?

The upper/lower one's were kind of added just to allow an infantry player to spawn in and not have to rely on vehicles to have a fight about the middle objectives - do you think its still too far?

we are talking about separate things my friend.

You are talking about hamada.

I on the other hand am talking about Hannut. Which as far as I know is only present in the Battle of Hannut Grand Operation's first day

My pal, I was talking about Panzerstorm CQ, but I understand that you were talking about Breakthrough, and that might be totally different. :)

I meant the HQ's here: https://www.vgr.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/12/Battlefield-5-Panzerstorm-Map-Layout-924x520.jpg
