[2019] Just WOW

I feel like every time and update gets released I make this same type of post. I seriously can’t believe what this game is and what’s its become. It started as one of the most infamous controversies in gaming and now it’s something to be celebrated by its true fan base as a complete 180. Capital supremacy is the gamemode this game needed from the beginning. Instant action truly is everything we have always hoped it would be. All the units added to the clone wars have made it exactly the clone wars experience we have always wanted. I just cannot believe it. Everything this game is and everything it could be it’s unthinkable we would get here, and with promise that I actually believe because of what has been done. The actions taken by the team to make this game what it is today is more proof of DICE’s capability to do great things if given the chance, and I hope EA continues to let them do these things.

This game still has a lot of improvement to go through, all the posts about lightsaber combat, lack of Star Fighters, need for AI vehicular combat, I believe will be solved with time. Along with hope that the Original trilogy will makes its way to capital supremacy. The clone wars has had its update and it’s everything we wanted out of it. I think it’s time we head back to where things started and give the rebels and empire the new units, skins, and vehicle updates the clone wars has taken to the frontlines. I’m really missing using my stormtroopers and if we keep this train rolling it’s gonna end up replacing 2005’s BF2. And I seriously can’t believe I just f*cking said that. Star Wars Battlefront II (EA) is on track to become a true successor to the game that captured my childhood for so long. In the beginning I was crushed by loot boxes and today I’m sitting here with the worlds biggest grin on my face because I can see my dream game being built in front of me.

So thank you dice, that magic is coming back slowly with hard work, and it really shows. I wish you guys all the best in your continued support of this game. I know you can make this what we all dreamed of in the beginning because you’re practically half way there. It’s hard to express into words what all of this has meant to me, so I hope this post gives you some sense of it. Cheers, and may the force be with you.
