I'm pretty mad and worried right now, and i have a right to be. This is directly related to star wars Battlefront 2

David Rutter joined the EA team in 2009 which was the first fifa to have the "successful" ulimate team mode, which for those that don't know...generates a large amount of EA's money from gamers buying loot boxes that contain random football players and other bonuses.

Here's a nightmare inducing quote from the CFO of EA in 2017.

"the 'real opportunity' is finding ways to bring a similar concept (Ultimate Team) to other EA games".

"Like Battlefield or Battlefront, our Star Wars game, which are very similar in the depth of play - we can possibly add a similar mechanic to that. We spend a lot of time thinking about it," he said. "Not for tomorrow, but over the next couple of years you're going to see a lot more of that in our portfolio."

We aren't dead in the water. David has been working with DICE for a while now, before we announced the content through the rest of 2019, which he's a supporter of.

No, actually. We've had the loot box conversation multiple times before so not going to do so again, a lesson learned is a lesson earned as the Clone Wars states.
