So a little backstory, about a year ago I had an event that led to me being in the most depressed state of my life thus far, and it's lasted on and off for a year. Recently it's gotten really bad, this isn't r/depression so I'm not going to go into everything but the bad thoughts are certainly there and some days are a lot tougher than others.

I'm a Prequel fan through and through (super hyped for OT content though), Revenge of the Sith was my first movie (I'm 22 and only saw it because a friend wanted to and I loved it) so all the clones, Anakin, Obi-Wan, Grievous, Dooku, all of them getting added to this game were like checkpoints I had to make it to so I could play as them. Like I had to live to see Obi-Wan, then Anakin, etc. And then Instant Action was announced as "new ways to play" and it just came out and now I want to see that become everything I hope it can be, and I want to see the OT content for it, and new appearances for my favorite characters.

DICE, you're making me look forward to a future where I can play this game and that really means the most to me right now. I knew this game had a lot of potential, I pre-ordered because I love Star Wars and have always wanted a game that could recreate how Pandemic's game made me feel as a child. And you're getting there, I just have to keep living so I can see it.

I know there are so many people behind the scenes we never get to see, but I'm really reaching out and hoping I can give thanks to every single one of them, and I truly think you all deserve it. You're all evidently very passionate and talented, dedicated to your work.

I love you guys. I love this community, though we may disagree, argue, we all have something in common that we want to see this game be really something amazing and something everyone can enjoy. And right now it's the closest it's ever been. I think the turnaround and the progress this game has made is something to be very proud of.

I derailed a little bit but TLDR: This game keeps me motivated to keep waking up every day because I want to live to see this game get better.

Thank you, DICE

Glad the game has brought you comfort and enjoyment. You're very much a welcome part of the community. I've been through similar and it does get better, please ensure you're seeking all the relevant help required. /r/depression is a great place for this.
