A good 6-7 IP addresses were pasted in the chat by this player out of nowhere.
Players using illegitimate third party utilities and tools spoofing their names as ADMIN has been encountered in the past and DICE has said they looked into it then, seems it's still an issue. They don't show up on the scoreboard either so finding them and reporting them in-game is not possible.
Just a note but we are aware. To caveat, we don't believe someone is getting ADMIN rights, it's just a name thing. Neither do we have reason to believe these were actual IP addresses being sent out.
Can you please give any word on if you guys are working on anything related to anti-cheat or banning cheaters?

Didn't say we aren't doing anything about it, just confirming that we don't have any reason to believe it's actual IP addresses being made public.
That's my problem, you guys always say 'We are doing something' yet there's like a bajillion posts of the same dude hacking. Is something actually being done or is it just PR talk?
Yes, stuff is being done. I've watched people get banned. It's just a topic that we can't talk about publicly for a number of reasons.
