Right after patch for 24hr there was alcatraz duos. I played it several times, won a few games. Amazing to do it in 2, we absolutely loved it. 4 hours later i go back to cod and it was gone?? External link →There was a reported issue sometime on Wed that redeploys were bugged, and not giving the Strife or bandies when you did so. No other communication beyond acknowledging the report was given, however, and sometime between that report and 5 am Thurs morning (when I checked it myself), they reverted it back to Quads...

Can you speak as to why it wasn't communicated, though? I searched here on reddit all the way back to the patch notes on Tues, and through the various Treyarch Twitter accounts, and saw nothing. Was only through looking myself in game that I saw it was changed...
Change came in via a game settings update yesterday and was scheduled to be announced, but was swept up within the blog launch. - I believe it was scheduled to be outlined in today's Reddit update.
Edit: Did however plan to engage any thread regarding the issue as per this exchange.
