1.18 Update

Our 1.18 update is now live on PC, including Contracts in all modes, Hacienda Twilight in MP rotation, Medals and Humiliations in Blackout, additional Prop Hunt and Capture the Flag maps, weapon tuning updates, a fix for MKII Weapon progression, and more. Check out the patch notes below for the details.

Quickplay Playlists

To help reduce wait times on PC, we’ve also added the new Quickplay playlist to Multiplayer and Blackout. This playlist will place players into any lobby that is closest to being full, so you’ll be able to jump into a new match as quickly as possible.

Weapon Tuning

In addition to tuning changes to the MOG 12, Daemon 3XB, and Switchblade X9 this week, we’ve made a PC-specific tuning change to the Vendetta sniper rifle’s headshot damage multiplier. With this update, headshots with the Vendetta will no longer kill targets in one shot on PC.

Update 1.16.1 indeed addressed mouse sensitivity issues for some players. Many thanks to the community who reached out and helped us track this one down.

Investigation continues, but we believe we have narrowed it down. I'll update here when I have a better window for the fix.

Thank you for tagging! We're currently investigating and the below questions can help us narrow it down.

What model mouse do you have?

Do you use your mouse's first party software?

What DPI was your mouse set to?

What in-game sensitivity do you use?

Have you made changes to DPI or in-game sensitivity to accommodate?

Are you using Windows 7, 8.1, or 10?

If barebones gets removed, I won't be playing anymore.

Happy to report that you will see it in the Featured section tomorrow alongside Infected.

This is what made people leave. I even tried playing a match on PS4 & raged so hard because of the bs cheese.. it's what made me not want to even touch this game..when i took so long off. i'm beating a dead horse. barebones is the only reason i still played. it's the only playlist i stayed in. omg..

Barebones currently lives in our Featured playlist rotation and will remain there for the time being. You will see it there tomorrow alongside Infected.

Our next Curated Playlists update arrives tomorrow, April 16th, and we plan to include the following changes.

Match Start Requirements

To further improve wait times in non-peak hours, we are reducing the minimum number of players required to start a match in the following Moshpits: Core Mercenary Deathmatch, Core Objective, Hardcore Deathmatch, and Hardcore Objective.

We believe this will help players across all regions and time zones get into matches quicker to spend more time playing. We will continue to monitor your feedback and watch the wait time data.

New Lone Wolf Moshpit

Whether you're an army of one or waiting for your crew, we believe this new playlist will fit right into your schedule. We're blending Free For All, One In The Chamber, Gun Game, and Heist together into our brand new Lone Wolf playlist. No parties allowed.

Read on below for more details:

Thank you for putting this post together. I have the following points to share back.

  • Weapon and Specialist Tuning: These are items I will share with the team.
  • Daily / Weekly / Community Challenges: Understandable requests. I don't have anything to share about this type of request, but I'll pass it along.
  • Paint Shop Customization: These are items I have passed along and will continue to pass along.
  • Contraband Content: This is feedback we see across the spectrum. Nothing to share other than the feedback is seen.
  • Communication: Studio members, in various capacities, engage often across a number of accounts and mediums. We're also listening more often than not.
  • Update Delays: This is something we've spoken to before. Recent delays saw us combine multiple updates into one, which prevented collision issues present on consol...

Our previous update required additional time to test as we combined two separate updates into a single and introduced new Blackout specific quality-of-life improvements.

That said, I understand your concern regarding update release timing. Thank you for the feedback.
