No, it’s because people are out here turning themselves into super soldiers on purpose, every game, every spawn. You think this would be an issue if it was just a guy or two doing it once in a while? No. Because that’s not what’s happening. It’s widespread, and being exploited to give players an unfair advantage.

Good morning! Just spoke with my Engineer again today (shout out to Anthony!) and was told that a change was submitted late on Friday. We will be testing that along with some other changes that we hope to push live in the next day or so.
The current fix will be to not drop the weapon when a player changes Specialists at any time. To be clear though, players will still be able to load out with Perks and find a weapon on the ground, but they will not be able to do that as easily since their own weapon will not drop in this case.
