I am mainly talking about PC right here as a few crashes for both Xbox and PS5 have already been acknowledged at least. But how on earth is a company with his high of a profile not being able to communicate a single "we know" tweet or something! same with the patches so far, you go like "yeah we release patch x.xx." Yeah and? what changed? what have you done? change logs? explanations? anything? If you are not gonna tell us that you changed something then why announce a patch in the first place? Please for the love of god don't make me and probably thousands of others abandon your game week 1-2 just because you are unable to communicate. /r

EDIT: Not sure why but thanks for the gold :D I appreciate it!

EDIT 2: Since people also try to troubleshoot what might be wrong on my game, here is a list of an earlier reddit post i made of what I have tried to fix it to no avail. Maybe you can take something from it and maybe get it to work.

My Fix attempts:

- Scan and Repair through Blizzard Launcher

- Updated GPU drivers

- Reinstalled Geforce Experience

- Completely reinstalled the drivers

- Did a driver rollback and tried every version up until the first Black ops driver.

- Updating Windows

- Uninstalling/Reinstalling the game

- Reinstalled battle.net

- Running it in administrator mode

- Switched it to DirectX11 mode by pasting -d3d11 in launcher settings

- Disabled all non-microsoft services in msconfig

- Both Disabled and Enabled Hardware-accelerated GPU scheduling in windows

- Overclocked and Underclocked my GPU

- Overclocked and Underclocked my CPU

- Overclocked and Underclocked my RAM

- Launched the game in safemode

- Launching windows in Safemode

- Lowering graphics settings ingame

- Both Reducing and Upping the VRAM option in the settings

- Using standard keybindings (I've read that somewhere)

- Capped FPS to 60 and 144 (I have a 144Hz monitor)

- Deleted player Directory in Documents folder

- Tried Fullscreen, Borderless and windowed

- Changed Resolution a couple of times

- Used both HD textures and non HD Textures

- Disabled game mode in Windows10

- Change MachineGuid in registry

- Installed the game both on an SSD and HDD

- Enabled and Disabled Shadowplay

- Launch the game in compatability mode

I feel the same, I'm guessing too they will release a patch on the 24th with the new map but still it'd be amazing to know when and still that day is almost 2 weeks from release when we can finally play it normally, hopefully like we can expect it for that patch day or something? :( At least we will be able to finally play hopefully but we missed out on the double exp, the launch day fun, or the first week of the biggest game release of every year :/ Just the fact that they didn't acknowledge that on the post where they listed "all known issues" is really upsetting because a ton of people have this problem and almost every 10th reddit post is about the same exact crash, I'm sure Beenox is working hard on it, but imo it's very understandable that we are upset because we payed for a full game before it likely gets discounted for Black Friday like last year's MW, yet we still can't play normally or at all for almost a week now.

But here's a copypasta I made because the Community manager is the only person I've seen to confirm it that they indeed know about it and what's the best way to help:

Reach out to Activision support, they are working on fixing crashes, send them a bug report you get by clicking the ReportCodBug .exe thing in the game's folder that lets you extract a detailed bug report. And your dxdiag, upload them to google drive and link them (be sure you set them to: Anyone can see it with the access of the link) plus all the details on the crashes but include your Battle net ID and your Activison ID and Region. You can reach out to them on Twitter DM's, report it on their official Contact us, or message https://www.reddit.com/u/ATVIAssist

The Community Manager in the comments to this talks more about it: https://www.reddit.com/r/blackopscoldwar/comments/jw07px/error_code_3107840166_is_a_widespread_issue_with/?utm_medium=android_app&utm_source=share

Thank you for continuing to get the word out, /u/Skarpantre!

OP, our Player Support teams are working directly with our development teams that handle PC. The reports are collated and directed to the proper channels.

Contacting our Player Support is always the best way to get the right information to the right sources. Feel free to tag me along the way too.
