I'm honestly perplexed. MW looked buttersmooth to me at 100fps. I'm pulling 90-110fps on cold war, yet the game has this stuttery quality to it that's impossible to ignore. It visibly looks like I'm getting ~40fps when the fps counter says well over 100.

The cutscenes that play pregame seem to be pretty smooth, but the instant I get in a game, it feels like I have 40-50fps.

Is this a bug? Something related to settings? Is this just how the game looks??

Same thing here (100+ FPS, feels incredibly choppy even compared to other games at 60FPS). I've seen quite a few threads with the issue - seems to be a bug that strikes randomly regardless of system.

Haven't been able to fix it and I've tried basically everything short of building a new PC.

Looking at the Cold War "Known Issues" Trello board, it doesn't look like any of the commonly reported PC performance issues are there.

u/FoxhoundFPS, can you please confirm if the dev team is aware of the issue or not? I've submitted bug reports and retweeted the Activision Assist account too, but got no response from them. If you look at my post history you can see many of the other threads where people have reported this issue across lots of different hardware configurations.

I’ve passed the feedback regarding this along. Continue to follow up with Player Support. They will be able to pass the more detailed information along to the proper teams. Not saying I can’t, but they’re better equipped to obtain items such as the output of your report exec.
