For some of you who wonder why we are sometimes faster and sometimes slower with nerfs: It depends on what needs to be changed. Smaller number changes can be applied through a maintenance, more complex changes require a new mandatory (not optional) client.

Mandatory updates always lead to at least some level of update churn, i.e. we are losing players who don't come back. Consequently companies avoid mandatory updates as much as possible.

@KaitricG But... that's exactly what happens. Content Creators and pros play the Brawlers, give us feedback, we adjust prior to release. Beyond that Brawlers are playtested in hundreds if not thousands of matches.

@LoganBrawl The Top 3 bans were each from '20, '21 and '22 - the remaining bans were much more distributed. Kinda to be expected that each of these years is at least represented with one of the most frequent bans with 10+ releases/year.

@blackkout007 This will never happen in esports. All we can hope for is as much diversity as possible. We never had the philosophy that Brawlers need to be viable in all modes and maps.

@MohamadImad05 We still have 3 regions to go. I do believe Ash and Colette have a pretty good chance to be played, at least.

@AshClashYT Let's see if Surge and Squeak will still hold true after the changes today. 😉 At least on the top level the Eve nerfs were clearly not enough to keep her under control and she's still a top pick in capable hands.

@MightBeFFG I don't think she's a bad Brawler at all. It's just that her mechanics are somewhat weird/unique.
