In addition to all the modes and events listed above, this season has a ton of new content that we will cover below!
Target Acquired: Become Legendary
We are extremely hyped to bring you all the Target Acquired event where players will be able to earn a permanent FREE LEGENDARY M4 – Royal Black Soul. This event begins with the launch of the season and will run until late May – however it won’t take you three months to earn the legendary weapon. To complete this event, players must sign into the game with a Call of Duty account once and then play 5 MP matches within the event's time period.
If you don’t have a Call of Duty account already, you can create and link one through the game! After linking the account, all you will need to do is login through the new Call of Duty, then play the matches. And if you already log into COD:M through a Call of Duty account, all you need to do is play 5 MP matches.
New Weapon – Type 19
Season 2 – Lunar Dragon brings two new weapons to Call of Duty: Mobile both of which are COD:M originals. The first is the Type 19 Assault Rifle. The Type 19 is fast firing compared to other Assault Rifles already in the game. The weapon also gives players increased mobility.
This weapon will be available for players to earn through the Season 2 Battle Pass at tier 21, with the Epic version – the Type 19 – Imperial Refinement - available for player in the premium Battle Pass at tier 50. And if Epic just isn’t enough, a Mythic version of the weapon will be available on 2/9 in the Celestial Ink Mythic Drop.
New Melee Weapon – Spear
The second Call of Duty: Mobile original weapon is the melee weapon – Spear. Wield the Spear to take down enemies in close-combat with all the speed and stealth of a melee weapon – with an extended reach. The Spear will be available in the Seasonal Store through Imperial Armory starting 2/24 UTC. The seasonal challenge most closely associated with the Spear will be the Phalanx Seasonal Mission. This Mission will have players eliminating enemies with melee weapons and the Spear in MP matches to earn Battle Pass XP and S2 Missions Tokens.
A Legendary version of the Spear will be available to players in the Lethal Azure Draw releasing on 2/23 UTC. This Spear – Striking Azure is the go-to weapon for the all-new COD:M character Long Yun - who will also be available in the draw.
New MP Map – Nuk3town: Year of the Dragon
The Dragon has come to Nuketown! Or…actually Nuk3town. This Year of the Dragon map is the futuristic version of Nuketown. Set in the year 2065, Nuk3town is designed to highlight fast-paced gameplay and will be part of the map rotation for the new mode coming to COD:M this season – Boost Jump.
But, this Nuk3town isn’t just the base Nuk3town. The Year of the Dragon celebrations will be present through the map with unique theming of the houses, a dazzling cyber light show, and a jaw-dropping holographic dragon flying through the skies.
