Greetings Call of Duty: Mobile Community! We are back for the last community update of Season 11: Final Snow and as we are excited to announced that the next season is releasing next week on January 19th at 4 pm PT! We’ve shared a few teasers for the season over the past week, but the time for teasers is done and now it is time for announcements. Get ready for Season 1: Heist!
Season 1: Heist Announcement Trailer
This is the first season of 2022 so that means we are once again resetting both the season numbers but also the Ranked Series. Season 1: Heist is a season full of carefully planned capers, narrow getaways, high-tech urban weaponry, and Lunar New Year themed content! We have a significant amount of new and exciting content coming in that release, including two new maps: Hacienda and Nuketown Temple.
First, you’ll want to keep an eye out for the in-game update coming early next week. That update will contain plenty of non-season specific content and changes, like weapon balance, UI updates, settings updates, fixes, improvements, and a new lobby screen. However, everything else is tied to the Season 1 launch on the 19th and of course we’ll have that new content spaced out evenly throughout the season.
Depending on that update timing, we should have another community post early next week just for those patch notes and then you can expect a full release update on the 19th with all of the season’s details. For now, you can find plenty of new info about the season over on our Season 1: Heist Blog! Let’s jump in the rest of the community update now to go over the last of the Season 11 content alongside some exciting announcements about Call of Duty: Mobile content creators.

To end the season we have a big mixture of MP modes, featured events, and new store content to round everything out! We’ll highlight much of that upcoming store content below since there won’t be any excuse or reason to cover it in future updates that are focused on Season 1. However, before we get into any of that we must first talk about a new announcement!
Call of Duty: Mobile Creator’s Club
We are thrilled to announce the beta of the Call of Duty: Mobile Creator Club!
The Creator Club is the premiere Call of Duty: Mobile incubator program built to promote and celebrate our awesome community of content creators.
And it’s not just for Ferg 😉! This program is designed to help a variety of our Creators - big and small – to grow and to build up our amazing and diverse group of creators. If chosen to join the Club, you’ll be able to earn COD points, exclusive seasonal sneak peeks, a variety of workshops on how to grow your channel, and access to Call of Duty: Mobile devs!
These rewards will be based around three levels within the program that Creators will be able to progress through - Elite, Master, and Legendary. Elite is for those with relatively new channels, Master for established creators, and Legendary for those creators with well-established communities.
As with any of our games, we will be starting our Creator Club with a beta which will have limited space and only be available for those in the United States and Mexico. If you are not in one of those regions or don’t get accepted right away have no fear! Our plan is to open the program up globally and to more creators once the beta ends.
You’ll be able to apply to the Creator Club on January 31st (PT), so be sure to keep an eye on all of our main social media channels (like Twitter, Facebook, or Instagram) for more news and information.
You can find more details as well as an FAQ here - https://www.callofduty.com/mobile/creatorclub
Creator Bundles
For more creator related news this week, we also have our first-ever Content Creator Bundles!! As many of you have already been discussing, our first two bundles have been revealed for Ferg and BobbyPlays, two creators who have been creating Call of Duty: Mobile content since the beginning and with a continuously growing following on their channels.
The first to release earlier this week was the Ferg Bundle, which honors Ferg as one of the most competitive and skilled CODM players out there! It includes an epic operator in his likeness, an epic DR-H – Ferg’s Nuker, Emote – Heart of the Nuke, and more unique items with his theme! Have a quick look at that those items and the bundle:
Next up, the BobbyPlays Bundle! As you may know, BobbyPlays has been someone we’ve done many collaborations with through the Call of Duty: Mobile World Championships, through livestreaming events, and through unique content on our owned channels like BobbyTalks. This one released yesterday and similarly has an epic operator in his likeness, the epic weapon GKS weapon blueprint GKS - SMH at my SMG, and much more! Get a glimpse at his bundle below:
Last but not least, we have one more Creator Bundle releasing tomorrow! We’ll have a teaser coming out for that later today on our social channels, but you may know this creator for their analytical prowess and for being able to easily break down any play (or weapon). Keep an eye out for that and thank you all for of the honest discussion around these bundles.
We know everyone has their own favorite creator and there is no way to please everyone with a release like this, but we hope that these bundles open the doors to more unique and collaborative content in the future! So, if you want to see more like this in the future make sure to share you discuss them fervently and of course support them in-game.
Seasonal Challenges Recap
There have been six different Seasonal Challenges released throughout this season and with an absolute wealth of Battle Pass XP, camos, and new items up for grabs! These are time limited to Season 11: Final Snow, so make sure to complete them within the next week. Here is a highlight of some of the top challenges from the season and their rewards.
Royale Specialist
This challenge tests your abilities across Battle Royale! You’ll need to fight in high traffic areas of our BR maps, take down vehicles, and survive for extended periods of time. Completing all of these tasks in this challenge will earn you 9,000 Battle Pass XP as well as the rewards below:
- Medic - Greenrock (Uncommon)
- Airborne - Greenrock (Uncommon)
- Arctic .50 - Jubilee (Rare)
- Special Ops 4 - Firefrost (Rare)
Disc of Doom
This challenge will test how deadly you can be in Battle Royale! You’ll need to secure airdrops, flex custom weapons, and win to complete all tasks in this challenge. If you complete everything you’ll earn 9,000 Battle Pass XP and the following items:

Board of Honor
This seven-part seasonal challenge is the main way to acquire the new tactical weapon – Decoy Grenade. If you haven’t seen this challenge in-game yet, we’ll just quickly say it is all about showing your skill and excellence with scorestreaks in MP matches. Completing all of these tasks will earn you up to 10,000 Battle Pass XP and the following rewards:
- (Uncommon) Baseball Bat – Green Rock
- (Uncommon) Fennec – Green Rock
- (Rare) Spray – Blood Shot
- (Rare) AS Val – Jubilee

New Operator – Sliver
We have many new operators every single season, but we don’t often have NEW operators that haven’t been in the game before in any form. Most of the time, we are making new variants and versions of a pre-existing operator, but Sliver is an entirely brand-new female operator! She joins a long line of stealthy, powerful, and effective covert operators who prefer to strike from the shadows or through the lens of sniper rifle. See Sliver in action below:
She is available via the Dusk Owl Draw, which went live in-game a few days ago, and to help her keep enemies at a distance she has a trusty legendary sniper rifle, the Locus – Electron! The draw is well balanced though and not just focused on long-range weaponry, so you also have the Assault Knife and GKS Heat Extractor weapon blueprints.
Check it all out now and get ready for one more draw, the Fire Raid Draw, to drop right at the end of Season 11 on January 18th! Just for you all, because we love you, here is a first glimpse at that draw’s main operator and weapon:
Fire Raid Draw Coming Next Week
COD: Mobile - Comics Finale Approaches
First off, we’ve had many questions about this but when we say the “finale” of the comics we are referring to the current storyline, which is about to end! If you’ve been reading the comics in-game this season then you absolutely know why it is nearing an end point and what major events have taken place, but there is still more to come. First, here is a glimpse at our last video covering some of those moments:
That last video came out right before a significant and shocking event occurred, so be sure to head in-game and check out this climatic season of events! You can find the comics within the Battle Pass section through the lobby screen. We have the finale fast approaching and landing on January 15th at 4 pm (PT)! Keep an eye out for one more video referencing that on January 16th that contains a quick peek at what’s to come in the new comics storyline in Season 1: Heist.
S11 Bugs & Feedback Recap
Every season we have a variety of topics and bugs to work though, and thankfully these season they were rather subdued compared to Season 10. The main reason for that is Season 10 was an “update” season as well where it is accompanied by a major in-game update/patch. This coming Season 1: Heist is also one of those seasons, which means an increased risk for issues, but as you may have noticed we’ve done things a bit more cautiously this time to help reduce potential issues.
Primarily, we’ve done multiple public test builds in all regions of CODM and with some as early as December. Additionally, the Garena, Korea, and Vietnam versions of this update will release in advance of China and Global in order to spot and fix critical issues in advance. With all of that said, here is some of what we’ve been working on and discussing as a part of Season 11!
Bugs – Under Investigation
- Controller Issues – We are still continuously investigating issues related to controllers not working as intended. Please keep reporting these through support channels!
- Tengu - Undead Crusade – Still investigating and working on an issue with missing some VO.
- High Priest of Chaos – Still investigating and working on an issue with missing some VO.
- Velikan – Still investigating and working on an issue with missing some VO.
- Domino – Still investigating and working on an issue with missing some VO.
- Aether Crystal Camo Unlocks – Investigating an issue with the Karambit challenge/progression not unlocking after completing all sniper Aether Crystal camos.
- Profanity Filter Blocking Loadouts – We are an investigating and issue where certain words are blocking loadouts from being saved due to the profanity filter.
- Wrench Exploit – Investigating a Wrench related exploit and hopefully it won’t be long until this is sorted out like all other exploits. Reminder, using exploits like this can lead to enforcement.
- Clan Renaming – We’ve seen some issues with clans not being able to rename their clan and have been investigating them on a case-by-case basis. Please keep reporting this to help us get more data on why this is happening on seemingly rare occasions.
Bugs – Fixed
- Gaz - Broadsword – Fixed an issue with missing VO.
- Hovec Sawmill – Fixed a map exploit.
- General Connection Issues – We saw some specific connection issues affecting Ranked Play last week and only in certain regions. This was fixed and thanks to all who reported it!
- Sniper Aim Assist Changes – This was called out in the public test build and we have confirmed it is a bug, not an intentional change. Should be back to fixed with the S1 release.
Feedback
We don’t have a significant amount of feedback to go over this time around, especially since some of it is a bit irrelevant to discuss right before a new update with new features, new changes, and new content to explore, but we still have some topics to bring up this week! While we know there are many other discussions and topics around, like the never-ending request for the classic zombies mode or the long-term request to rebalance Persistence, we have other more recent topics to bring up:
Bans Appeals – We often seen ban threads and immediately sympathize with these earnest requests to have the ban investigated and repealed. While we don’t generally do this on an individual basis, we do often keep track of the data behind these bans and when we see fluctuations or spikes we check into everything to make sure it is working as intended.
With that said, while we may not reply to an individual request that request may lead us to questioning a whole wave of bans and subsequently leads to changes, reductions, reversals to those who were hit in that same wave (including the original requester). Of course, in the end nearly all bans we check tend to end up valid.
Voice Over Adjustments – In the public test builds we saw a few discussions focused around on voice over options being removed. As you all know in these passionate communities, we are always making adjustments to remove unused content to help reduce the size of the game. With these adjustments, we thought we were doing just that with VO options that very few players utilize. However, we are re-discussing that now and may hold on making these changes.
Free Content in China – First off, we’ve always been impressed by most of the CODM communities by how sympathetic, kind, and considerate you all have been towards your fellow gamers in China. That whole gaming space is far different and with different events, complexities, holidays, and challenges. Thank you for understanding that and for not seeing those differences as competition or “us vs them”, but instead just as something different.
All of that discussion led to many conversations about free vs paid content in different regions, and we’d like to reiterate that all versions of CODM have many different options for excellent free content. Every season consists of Ranked Series rewards, featured events, seasonal challenges, and free BP rewards on top of unique events and rewards that come with something like a holiday. Thank you everyone who made threads, tweets, or posts to share their favorite pieces of free operators or weapons in response to these discussions!
Support Options
A new season will be here next time we chat, so just a reminder that if you need any assistance please use the following options below to get assistance with any type of issue. While we regularly look at the community and report bugs that way, there is still a whole team of support agents waiting to help out! The main two official options are below:

Final Notes
With these last notes of this update, we say goodbye to the winter warfare of Season 11: Final Snow and look forward to the vineyards of Hacienda, the serene refuge of Nuketown Temple, and some festive additions to the Battle Royale landscape. Here’s another early glimpse at more of what is to come in Season 1: Heist!
Lastly, we’d just like to say this is just the start of another year of fantastic Call of Duty: Mobile content! We have significant plans to bring more unique seasons, content, competitive events, crossovers, and more throughout 2022. Thank you all for being part of these huge and passionate communities, we can’t wait to share more with you throughout the year and we hope you love it all. Take care and we’ll see you again next week with patch notes and a full a breakdown of the new season’s content!
