Greetings Call of Duty: Mobile Community! We’re back with another Community Update to accompany this PBT release! We know many of you are eager to jump into the PBT to check out some of the new content, changes, and adjustments coming to Season 5 and Season 6, so here is all of that info first.
Here are all of the public test build details below:
- Begins today on May 11th (UTC)
- Test end date TBD, but will likely last about one week
- Available for Android Devices & iOS Devices
- iOS Testflight: https://apple.co/3wCCmz9
- 64 Bit: https://bit.ly/CODMPTB64Bit5
- 32 Bit: https://bit.ly/CODMPTB32Bit5
- Download Size: Initial size around 700-800 MB, Wifi connection is highly recommended
- Player Registration Limit: 30,000
- Content suited for ages 16+
- All information and player data collected during this test will be deleted
As per usual, everything you see in the build may not be final, may be buggy, may have placeholder art or text, or may be different from what eventually releases. Sometimes content we are testing is for the next season or it could potentially be for two seasons from now. However, here are a few changes, improvements, and new pieces of content you can look forward to trying out in this build:
- New Mode: Guns Blazing
- New Tactical: Echo Grenade
- Known visual issue with this grenade exploding. It should not explode and it does not do damage, it is meant to scan enemies and give hints at their location.
- New primary weapon
- New BR map areas
- Persistence Perk adjustments
- Audio optimizations
- BR minimap optimizations
- MP playlist UI changes
- Various UI and graphical optimizations
- Third person mode reload progress prompt optimizations
- Many other changes to be discovered
Just another reminder as well that this content is by no means representative of everything coming to the next release. We specifically curate what is going into these builds and are trying to get feedback or in-game data on specific features, changes, optimizations, and content. Please make sure to use the in-game survey function to report your feedback or any bugs.

Speaking of Tournament mode, we've been reading all kinds of feedback on this new mode over the weekend, and we just wanted to say thank you to everyone who took time to share any feedback about the mode, positive or negative.
Like we've mentioned before, we've launched this new mode as a kind of beta test where it isn't available to all players yet and there is still time to shape it based on all of this feedback. We have no definitive changes or info to share just yet but keep an eye out for that in the future updates. Lastly, please keep sharing feedback both through playing the mode in-game, which provides useful data, and through these detailed community posts.
