Greetings Call of Duty: Mobile Community! We are back with another update and primarily focused on news and feedback around Season 2, Season 3, and of course around the just announced Call of Duty: Mobile World Championship 2022. First though, an update about account security:
We continue to monitor the issue related to some CODM account deletions and have taken additional steps to both prevent unauthorized deletions and improve our processes in order to further increase account security. Player IDs are no longer visible in the game settings, which provides even more protection to players that choose to stream. In addition, we’ve added a new account field that is hidden within a player’s settings, and only viewable to that player, which will soon be needed when submitting a request using Player ID on our legally required Privacy & Data Protection Portal. As always, please make sure to never share your Player ID or other private account information publicly.
In other news, we shared some of our first looks at Season 3 content earlier this week and once again had a lot of people giving spot on guesses as to what the below weapon is. Of course, if you were in the Public Test Build you already have seen both and much more from the season, but we per usual we’ll blissfully ignore that fact and carry on with these hints at what’s to come 😉. First, a new weapon!
The second piece we shared presented a new Multiplayer map with a retro look. This map will be for small teams and with full of different options for all ranges. We’ll have more on this MP map closer to the release of the new season, but get your first glimpse in this video:
For the rest of the update today we have a few primary topics to cover and a new poll we are putting out there to gather some direct feedback! You can find info on that poll at the very end of this post, but for now let’s jump straight into the calendar.

Holi Bundle & Holiday
Another holiday has arrived and one full of life and love - Holi, also known as the Festival of Colors! This holiday is mostly celebrated in India (although it is known all around the world) and to help celebrate it we’ve created a unique new video!
This animated video features Scout, Ghost, and other operators alongside a remixed, Bollywood-style version of the classic and beloved original Call of Duty: Mobile theme song. The remixed theme was produced by the talented Anshuman Sharma. Take a look and enjoy:
In-game you can also find ways to engage with Holi content, like the Festival of Colors Bundle and Celebration of Colors Event. First up, you can snag some in-game loot via the Celebration of Colors Event, which will be running until 3/24 (UTC) and simply asks you to login or play matches. For completing those tasks you can snag the Thumper - Gulal and Backpack - Gulal camos.
Lastly, the Festival of Colors Bundle is available via the in-game store with a variety of cosmetics all decked out in the Holi themed Gulal camo! The bundle is available in all regions, but the price will vary per region. That’s normal procedure since each region has different store prices depending on their currency, but we wanted to call that out due to some questions we saw around this bundle.
We hope you enjoy all things related to the Festival of Colors and Happy Holi to all who celebrate!
Undead Siege’s Future
We have so much exciting content planned for Call of Duty: Mobile in the rest of 2022 and beyond, but one thing we’ve haven’t talked much about is the Undead Siege mode. We’ve had a lot of questions about its future, and unfortunately we don’t currently plan to create any more content for the mode.
While it had a lot of initial participation and excitement, interest and engagement waned even after additional updates were released. As with all game development teams, we regularly have to prioritize resources, which in this case will be reallocated elsewhere to create new content.
With that in mind, we are excited to announce that in this case those resources are going to be used to create unique Battle Royale content. You’ll see a first glimpse at that visually engaging content later in Season 4! Once you can try that out directly, we hope you all will agree that new content is worthwhile and engaging.
For now, in the upcoming Season 3 release, Undead Siege will be removed from the featured mode area and be placed into events. It will still be accessible for quite some time, at least for a full season, while we decide how to rotate it out. A huge thank you to everyone who supported this mode and if you have any questions or concerns, please let us know!
World Championship 2022
You’ve been asking for news about our competitive events this year and earlier this week we happily announced that the Call of Duty: Mobile World Championship 2022 is almost here! This new and massive competitive event will be following a similar path to the last two years “Stages” approach, with Stage 1 starting on 3/31 UTC. Before we go into details, here is the announce trailer:
Call of Duty: Mobile World Championship 2022 Trailer
We have the largest to date CODM event prize pool up for grabs and this year you can represent your region along the way with region-specific weapon camos, and two Epic operators - Charly - Local Legend and Zero - Main Event. You can learn more about the rewards on the CODM Esports Website. Additionally, we have a whole roadmap of the year to come already available:
This year we have a variety of firsts, whether it is that roadmap or various new ways to communicate about all things related to the championship. We started that off earlier this week with an Esports Update post on top of the trailer, website update, and roadmap. We’ll be pushing these Esports Updates out regularly throughout the competitive season and here is the first one:
Since we are trying these new approaches, we are eager for feedback about all of it. So please let us know if you have any questions we haven’t covered, how you feel about these Esports posts, and if there is anything else you would like to see communicated throughout the season.
Final Notes
The last thing we’d like to mention in this update is Season 2: Task Force 141 feedback! If you don’t already see them available and waiting for your vote, you’ll soon see polls up in the associated Discord community that are all focused on draws, the seasonal theme, and seasonal content. You can find that in the #community-polls section there.
Our teams are looking to better understand how you feel about the season and would love to get your insight, whether it is a simple rating system like you’ll see in the polls or the open-ended question we’ll have stickied to this Reddit post. We are eager for all of it and thank you to anyone who takes the time to respond!
With that said, that’s the end of this relatively short community update but we’ll back next week with more Season 3 news and a recap of everything Season 2. See everyone then, have a great weekend, and once again Happy Holi to all who celebrate!
