So steam said I could play Conan for free this weekend. I've always wanted to play this game, but as someone who logged many hours into Ark, I was hesitant because I figured the alpha tribes would just wipe me out (I play solo). I did some research and found out about PvE-C.. like.. that's everything I always wanted in Ark because I have a job, wife, etc. So long story short.. I played about 35 hours during the free weekend and had a blast.

But what cemented me into buying this game was this...

I'm running around looking for babies to steal and raise as my own when a lone survivor stumbled upon me fully naked and well endowed. I must have have come across as hostile because I was in a fighting stance with a sword equipped. When we both saw each other we paused as if we were deer in headlights. My wife kept hitting me and told me not to kill him and of course I wasn't.. this man was naked! But I was a little nervous. because this is a PvE-C server so who knows if this was going to go south or not. After a solid 7-8 seconds of staring at each other, the guy throws his hands up to show he surrenders. I didn't know what to do, in fact I was trying to figure out how to use emotes to show I wasn't hostile. After a few seconds of awkwardly staring at him, the well endowed naked man starts running away, zigzagging back and forth into the horizon.. with his hands up in the air.. My wife and I could not stop laughing for a solid minute. Just full on belly laughs.

Damn free weekend got me real good. If it wasn't on sale I'd probably pay the $40, but for $20 this game is a steal.

Good times!

Ah, those awkward early game encounters where everyone is naked and no one really knows what to do. They're the best!
