That item is actually an internal controller in the form of an item bag that grants your spider its attacks. It's unusable otherwise and it's not harmful to remove it from the spider's inventory.
It mostly shows up when a pet or animal has been spawned from the admin menu.
I get it on my horses if I put weapons in their iventory... I'm not an admin and never spawned anything
It happens most often when spawning from the admin menu, but can happen in the wild every now and then too!
