| 687s | going to be just like a very chill kind |

| 690s | main objective of this is a to teach me |
| 693s | how to build something because I'm a |
| 694s | complete novice in comparison to of |
| 697s | course Bon and I'm I'm sure many other |
| 698s | experienced Builders um and also an |
| 701s | opportunity to kind of get to know the |
| 702s | guy some more um and what an enigma yeah |
| 706s | yeah just just learn more about Bon |
| 710s | friendship |
| 711s | punches bonding so that's what the |
| 715s | stream should have actually been called |
| 717s | but uh but yeah so as you know kind of |
| 720s | the title suggests I'm I'm a builder so |
| 723s | I mainly build for like the |
| 725s | PVE um the rooll playay and like the |
| 728s | single player crowd I kind of stay away |
| 731s | from the PVP aspect of things so a lot |
| 735s | of my builds are pretty would never hold |
| 737s | up in an actual like PVP server but uh I |
| 740s | also build things without mods because I |
| 742s | I like to keep the the console players |
| 746s | in mind as well I don't want to leave |
| 747s | them behind so all the builds that I do |
| 749s | yeah so so all the builds that I do are |
| 751s | going to be just strictly modist I am |
| 753s | going to be utilizing some in-game |
| 755s | glitches to get certain a style of look |
| 759s | to the builds so I would I would |
| 761s | consider that more of like an advanced |
| 763s | like building technique ah yes yes yes |
| 766s | yeah yeah we just call them quirks yeah |
| 767s | yeah we're just yeah you're using quirks |
| 770s | in the building system that's to I'm |
| 772s | actually very curious like what uh what |
| 773s | you might be talking about cuz I'm not |
| 775s | I'm I'm not like intimately uh familiar |
| 777s | with like some of the techniques you |
| 778s | might be referencing here so uh and |
| 781s | going to learn them all excellent uh and |
| 783s | you at home you're going to learn some |
| 785s | too |
| 787s | hopefully I'm sorry go ahead you go |
| 789s | ahead no I was gonna say I'm sure a lot |
| 791s | of the a lot of the viewers now probably |
| 793s | know many of them but uh for all the new |

| 821s | a couple weeks ago if you're here just |
| 823s | for new information uh unfortunately |
| 826s | it's not what the stream is about but we |

| 845s | right so so when it comes to builds I |
| 848s | like to actually just kind of mix match |
| 851s | certain build Styles together that |
| 853s | normally probably wouldn't look the |
| 856s | greatest but you know try to make them |
| 858s | look somewhat presentable um sure yeah |
| 861s | do you buy any so so I'm thinking do you |
| 863s | have the Acer set and the the Lost |
| 866s | dungeon has that been enabled so now |
| 869s | unfortunately we weren't able to get |
| 871s | those uh enabled for my account for this |
| 873s | stream um because the it gets a little |
| 875s | finicky when we're talking about a live |
| 877s | environment versus like an internal |
| 878s | environment since this is a um this is |
| 881s | on a live like regular server uh big |

| 887s | thank you g portal uh but yeah this is |
| 889s | this is a purely vanilla um no mods no |
| 892s | like weird Dev backend stuff like this |

| 947s | obstruct you know anything uh when I'm |
| 949s | building nothing's worse than building |
| 951s | half your structure and then you hit |
| 952s | into up hit in a hill or something oh |
| 955s | yeah yeah so I'm thinking right over in |
| 959s | this field proba gonna be big enough I |
| 962s | blink you immediately just oh yeah there |
| 965s | you I'm over by like uh yeah I'm over by |
| 967s | like where the horses spawn and |
| 969s | everything yeah so I'm thinking this is |
| 971s | probably going to be a big enough area |

| 975s | so um when I build I normally don't use |
| 979s | foundations so I always normally yes |
| 982s | yeah I foundations to me are uh bring |
| 987s | some issues when it comes to the uh the |
| 989s | glitch build or however you want to call |
| 992s | it um so I use uh nidian pillars and |
| 995s | nidian ceiling pieces interesting okay |
| 997s | and that that gives you a couple of |
| 999s | different uh options to work with so for |
| 1003s | this build I think we're going to start |
| 1004s | off with the arena set and you have the |
| 1006s | arena set correct I do yeah yeah yeah |
| 1008s | yeah okay perfect perfect so uh what |
| 1011s | I'll have you do is if you just want to |
| 1013s | do a 2 by two withing pieces yep yeah |

| 1020s | and pillar pieces something a raed |

| 1063s | why I don't like using the foundation |
| 1065s | pieces is uh when it comes to a lot of |
| 1068s | the builds I like to add like Corner |
| 1070s | pillars and whatnot and foundations will |
| 1073s | actually prevent the placement of uh of |
| 1076s | the pillars on the corners so what I'm |
| 1079s | going to do is I'm going to take just |
| 1081s | any other random set that has um like a |
| 1083s | stair piece just connect it to the side |
| 1086s | of one of your uh your see okay okay so |
| 1089s | just any any type of stair doesn't |
| 1091s | really matter I'm just going to use |
| 1092s | Arena stairs here okay well okay any |
| 1094s | other St other than I'm so sorry I'm so |
| 1097s | Sor terribly sorry terribly sorry uh uh |
| 1100s | uhh what do I what should I use I'm just |
| 1102s | G to use flat some FL some stairs all |
| 1104s | right all right perfect okay so stair |
| 1106s | pieces are a wonderful um um uh piece to |
| 1110s | Center up uh pillars on things so once |
| 1114s | you place your stair piece um you can |
| 1116s | just take any pillar and you're going to |
| 1118s | snap it to the top Center portion of |
| 1120s | your stair piece oh so uh so any pillar |
| 1124s | piece any type so I'm just gonna go back |
| 1126s | okay yeah well any pillar piece not not |
| 1128s | the big one just yeah just like the |
| 1130s | standard small so that okay cool yeah so |
| 1133s | so now from here um if you want to add a |
| 1136s | pillar on the corner you're going to |
| 1138s | take your ceiling piece you're going to |
| 1140s | place it on top of the pillar that you |
| 1141s | just placed |
| 1143s | MH and the direction of where you want |
| 1145s | your pillar on the corner you're going |
| 1147s | to snap another stair piece angled |
| 1149s | towards that corner that you want to put |
| 1151s | your pillar on so I would put it |
| 1154s | interesting okay the side so like that |
| 1157s | yeah yeah there you go and then from |
| 1159s | here uh since we're going to be starting |
| 1161s | off with Arena we're gonna uh and I want |
| 1164s | Arena pillars on the sides uh you're |
| 1166s | just going to take the arena pillar and |
| 1167s | you're G to snap it to the bottom |
| 1169s | portion of that newly placed stair piece |
| 1172s | and you're just going to run that all |
| 1173s | the way to the ground so that the B |
| 1175s | uh H Well mine's not |
| 1180s | snapping he means like okay okay okay |
| 1183s | okay my bad my bad okay okay gotcha |
| 1186s | gotcha gotcha oh I see |
| 1188s | see so now from here you're just going |
| 1191s | to delete everything other than your |
| 1194s | corner pillers you're just going to |
| 1196s | remove all the stuff that you just place |
| 1199s | so you've you successfully have added |
| 1202s | the the corner pillar to your to your |
| 1204s | build so now from here if you want to |
| 1207s | add more um more Corner pillars rather |
| 1210s | than having to repeat the process |
| 1212s | because you you've technically offset |
| 1215s | that pillar piece from your main build |
| 1217s | grid so you uh so this is its own |
| 1220s | separate grid now you can just take |
| 1221s | ceilings and uh ceiling pieces you can |
| 1223s | run them to portions that you want um |
| 1227s | your your new pillars and then you just |
| 1229s | build straight down from where you want |
| 1230s | the new pillars so if you want okay |
| 1233s | gotcha gotcha okay I understand now okay |
| 1235s | okay yeah so I'm going to run a couple |
| 1237s | more of these here and then stick the |
| 1240s | pillars like |
| 1243s | that |
| 1245s | uh so I I was going to say so I guess |
| 1248s | like that's something we can put on a |
| 1250s | wish list uh for the devs is being able |
| 1253s | to do yeah I would love that I would |
| 1256s | absolutely love that I'm sure a lot of |
| 1257s | my viewers would absolutely love that |
| 1259s | too Corner pillar placement is just a |
| 1262s | huge huge deal cuz Technically when |
| 1264s | you're looking at this build it's |
| 1267s | technically two different builds |
| 1269s | combined into one if that makes sense |
| 1271s | because they're both on their own |
| 1272s | separate uh separate grids when you |
| 1274s | actually think about it so so now we're |
| 1276s | gonna we're going to delete we're going |
| 1278s | to delete all this stuff real quick and |
| 1280s | delete your uh like everything y go |
| 1283s | ahead and delete everything start from |
| 1285s | scratch okay okay yeah cool I do like |
| 1289s | doing that yeah a most of my like so |
| 1292s | like uh uh I I typically work in like 2D |
| 1294s | like I'm a I'm big into like |
| 1296s | illustration or like graphic design and |
| 1297s | such like that so I love like just I |
| 1298s | don't know control a and deleting things |
| 1300s | with I just need a little reset I'm a |
| 1302s | big fan of that person all right so now |
| 1305s | we're going to actually build just like |
| 1308s | a smaller like house or we can maybe go |
| 1312s | a little bit bigger maybe even possibly |
| 1313s | turn it into a Tavern or something yeah |
| 1315s | let's make a little Tavern right so when |
| 1317s | it comes to to base design I always |
| 1320s | start with a base like floor layout of |
| 1324s | things so um I normally don't go much |
| 1327s | bigger than like two or three ceiling |
| 1329s | pieces or foundations wide so what I'll |
| 1333s | have you do is we're going to still use |
| 1335s | the the pillar and ceilings but you're |
| 1337s | just going to come up with just a random |
| 1340s | layout of things and like I said you |
| 1342s | know I wouldn't go more than two or |
| 1344s | three um uh ceiling pieces wide but just |
| 1348s | make sure you know while you're adding |
| 1350s | it you know give it some some pillar |
| 1351s | support and |

| 1386s | want to get it perfect the first time |

| 1391s | something down if it doesn't look good |
| 1393s | cuz you know when it comes to it I don't |
| 1396s | always get it right that's too wide |
| 1398s | every single time on the first time so |
| 1400s | yeah that's well that's nice to know |
| 1402s | that you're not afraid to fail and being |
| 1404s | able to start over because that would be |
| 1405s | intimidating to me be like I did all of |
| 1407s | this the last thing I want to do is is |
| 1409s | tear it all down right and and the thing |
| 1412s | is you don't have to tear all of it down |
| 1414s | it's just the sections that don't look |
| 1415s | right you know and you can always change |
| 1417s | up and when it comes to building |
| 1419s | sometimes I'll even rebuild a section of |
| 1421s | it right off to the side and just kind |
| 1423s | of experiment until I get something that |
| 1424s | looks good and then once I'm satisfied |
| 1426s | with that then I'll just slap it right |
| 1428s | on the uh the main build I see so let's |

| 1709s | copying your homework a little bit I |

| 1712s | these pillars set up now and so what |
