131s | version were supposed to get the parity |
132s | patch but unfortunately is taking a bit |
134s | longer than we liked and we would like |
135s | to hold yes for that but sometimes stuff |

140s | you need to move a patch and sometimes |
142s | you may need to move a patch longer than |
144s | you unfortunately need to but currently |
148s | it's moved over to next week |
150s | so our ps4 audience should be able to be |
154s | able to see it then but yeah as always |
158s | we're still collecting bugs we're |
159s | collecting feedback from you guys and a |
161s | lot of the stuff that we've done with |
162s | with the pet system and the new comments |
165s | up is also based on your feedback and of |
167s | course we need your we need as much |
169s | feedback as possible on the pet system |
171s | because again it's it's gonna sit on |
173s | test live for a couple of weeks and we |
176s | need you guys to tell us like hey this |
177s | seems weirdly balanced like the cost of |
181s | certain things might be weird the health |
183s | of certain things might be very it's |
185s | some things will definitely feel a bit |
187s | off with the pet system we have already |
190s | done a couple passes on the numbers of |
192s | it and with there's more stuff that we |
194s | gotta do there there's some some little |
197s | kinks that we still are fixing they are |

204s | on it done the numbers for example for |
207s | everything are fully tuned to hi |
210s | the the way placing pets in in certain |

216s | eat is prolly tuned to be a bit too |

286s | we're going to start with the new combat |
290s | animations sure okay all right so as you |
293s | are for those you who don't know because |
295s | you might be joining us for the first |
296s | time |
296s | Oscar is like the master of combat on |
299s | the dev team I am in charge of combat |
302s | yes I don't know if I would call me the |
304s | master of anything but master of |
306s | puppets' maybe checking for more than |
309s | that we have continued working on the |
312s | combat mechanics |
313s | there were some things that didn't make |
315s | it to the launch cut that we really |
318s | wanted to work on and we have just |
322s | continued cracking on through all these |
323s | months and some of the some of the |
326s | aspects of combat we felt were not |
329s | represented very well there's a certain |
331s | type of fantasy that comes with the |
333s | conan world is stuff that you expect to |
335s | see like for example why can i just use |
338s | an axe on each hand yeah right or why |
341s | why can't I hit things with my shield |
343s | all right so those two are some of the |
346s | things that we have been working on and |
347s | we are ready to show all of that today |
349s | it's actually playable in test life |
352s | right now yes right with everything |
357s | combat we we are being a bit careful |
359s | because doing early access we can |
362s | basically mess around with things |
364s | however we want but once the game is out |
366s | we need to be wary of shaking things a |
369s | bit too much and I'm breaking the game |
373s | as if people currently know it right so |
376s | what we did is 100 Souls 100 axis and |
381s | 100 maces they have they had their |
383s | defined roles in the game right do you |
386s | want a cripple use a sword if you want |
388s | to deal with people that have shields |
391s | you use a mace and if you want somewhere |
394s | in between then you go for an axe right |
396s | the axe also has a very unique opener on |
400s | the heavy the jump that you |
401s | it has a unique role compared with the |
403s | other moves right so we preserve all of |
406s | that especially on the on the leg and |
408s | the light attacks on the left clicks of |
410s | everything but what we did is either |
413s | using a shield or a throwing axe in your |
417s | offhand we swapped some of the moves to |
422s | use the axe or the shield it's a really |
425s | good animation when he just lets the eye |
426s | yeah I'm really like don't look at it I |
428s | mean it's window balance we do we here |
431s | but whatever so this does not affect the |
435s | left clicks but it does change the heavy |
437s | attack so you want to just do a heavy |
439s | attack chain with this with dual oxygen |
441s | so the light combo like the left click |
443s | combo is the same yeah we haven't |
445s | changed it but the heavy one we have now |

450s | offhand into it and yeah for for the axe |

809s | was there was one issue where if you had |
811s | a broken javelin and a javelin that was |
814s | on full durability mm and you combined |
817s | them into a stack you would suddenly |
819s | have a stack of two javelins that were |
822s | half durability that's one of the one |
824s | aid from the others that is one of the |
825s | problems to to make that is it requires |
827s | a bit of tech work still yeah it's not |
829s | ready yet so the other thing that we |
831s | that is near the win traduce is in these |
834s | same lines you can do the same thing |
836s | with a shield |
837s | yes so what shield does it vertically |
840s | firstly modifies your |
841s | said so you actually hit things with the |
843s | shield but every single attack that hits |
846s | with the shield has the shield's mass |
848s | property which is the property that you |

1099s | think that's more weight coud on dodging |
1102s | at the right times in the combo rather |
1104s | than just dodging all the time right so |
1105s | people people can play wrong with it and |
1107s | tell us how much it sucks or how cool it |

1113s | talking about come combat updates people |
1115s | also asking about archery yeah which is |
1118s | always a hot topic among the amount of |

1179s | questions about sure hyper ammo is when |
1183s | when you do an attack and if you get hit |
1186s | during your attack your attack cancels |
1188s | it stops right yes but if you have hyper |
1191s | armor it does not stop it means you're |
1194s | basically very resistant against damage |
1196s | and attacks from the enemy |
1198s | do not just load you down they do not |
1200s | stand you they do not push you you're |
1202s | immune to attacks from the enemy from |
1204s | the effects of the attack you still take |
1206s | damage but at least they don't stand you |
1208s | which means you can continue doing your |
1209s | combo right so it's always very nice to |
1212s | have hyper amount especially if you know |
1215s | that the enemy is things is their turn |
1218s | basically and is gonna try to attack you |
1221s | now right I just need to answer someone |

1354s | another one teaches you how to make more |
1356s | utility arrows and ancient arrows which |
1359s | is a brand new and game tier of arrows |

1468s | get healed the cloud doesn't care who is |
1470s | in the cloud yet heals everything in the |
1472s | cloud so it will heal your enemies the |
