164s they came out this week and then I have

178s we have patch last week we patch ps4 we
181s patch PC and we patched Xbox and we are
183s of course continuously collecting
185s feedbacks from feedback from the forums
187s and from social media we managed to
191s implement for all recipes because I was
193s a bit buggy after after the post
195s Halloween patch and so yeah we're still
198s you know doing the work doing everything
200s we need to do and please remember that
202s when you're submitting reports through
204s the forums or through social media to be
206s as detailed as possible there are there
209s are still people who just say this is
211s broken and I'm like okay are you on
213s which console are you I'm like why are
216s you doing anything specifically to make
217s this happen etc so please remember

222s important and it's very important any
224s kind of little you can provide was
225s helpful there is no such thing as too

234s speaking of bugs is a great segue we
238s have launched a public bug tracker
240s Trello board where you can follow the
244s progress of some of the most reported
245s issues that have been reported by the
246s community and so this is just a thing
251s that we're going to be updating
253s continuously whenever we fix stuff
254s whenever we patch stuff and you'll
256s basically see a list of some of the
259s things that you guys have been reporting
260s that we are currently working on and we
263s are also
265s we are also going to be yeah like having
269s stuff and taking stuff out as we fix
271s things and as you guys keep reporting
272s stuff to us and we're also allowing you
274s to vote on certain issues that you would
276s like us to to focus on and so you will
280s be able to track the progress and then
282s follow follow along with with the work
284s that we do so much flour yes absolutely
286s and it's not gonna be a full list of all
289s the bugs that we have that we're
292s currently working on there's gonna be a
293s lot of stuff that you'll never see on
294s the Trello board that we are working on
297s but you will yeah like the things that
300s have been the the most talked about by
302s players is what we're gonna be putting
305s up on that Trello board alright so and
310s I'm speaking of fixes and patches super
313s I'm nailing these segues today we have
317s released a new test light patch with a
319s bunch of new fixes and some new content
321s and we're gonna demo some of that later
324s very shortly and alongside this test
327s live patch we released a new separate
331s test lab client basically what that
333s means that if you already own Coenen
336s exiles on Steam
337s you now have two separate things that
339s you can install download install and
342s then play one is just called Conan exile
343s and the other is called Conan excels I
345s think it's test like client or just test
347s life and that allows you to just launch
352s whatever we whatever build we have um
354s test live and then play that and the
357s stuff that's on test live is stuff
360s that's slightly in the works still but
363s it's stuff that we figured that we
365s should allow the community to play
366s around with and offer us some additional
368s testing because like we still do a lot
370s of testing ourselves but this is a way
372s for us to see how some of these things
374s work in the wild sort of before we
377s person to live the pet system what's on
379s test live for example the newest roll
381s hunger stuff was on test live so those
383s are like examples of things that will go
385s to test live first and then to the live
387s version after we've iterated on it and
389s we've patched in your feedback and like
392s gotten your bug reports and why
393s Palestine and you can always access the
396s test life stuff from your normal
398s installation but
398s you have to switch the the type in the
402s steam or whatever you are you you would
404s normally have to switch yeah I think
406s download the patch and then download
408s again when you want to go back to your
409s game and it's a it's a time-consuming
411s process so we put out this separate
413s client so you can basically keep access
415s to your normal character and test things
418s in test life we have a minimum hassle
420s yes we a lot of players said that it was
423s yeah it was a hassle so we wanted to to
425s give you guys the ability to just
427s quickly jump between the two and then of
429s course if you're if you're running a
431s private server you can easily set up a
432s private server for your test log client
434s as well and then people can switch back
436s and forth on yep it's convenient it is
439s really really nice hopefully with this
441s we will get more people to try the test
443s life stuff yes get more ice on it and
446s get more feedback on it so we can react
448s to things we am putting them outside yes
450s and then people will be able to do this
453s without having to sacrifice whatever
454s right they were going to do this weekend
456s or whatever clan they were gonna have

520s so among there's a lot of new stuff in
523s test life we're gonna focus today and
525s kind of like the big-ticket new things
528s that we put out but the sir there is a
530s ton of his mole fixes right yeah
533s the first one that we're going to start
535s with is one that people have been
537s waiting for a long time we have been
538s waiting for a long time to be able to
540s put this in front of you and they are
542s the long-awaited changes to the ball of
546s mechanics yes right people were not we
550s have done a couple of iterations already
551s on the mechanics of the bowel people
553s were not completely satisfied when we
555s moved from the early access coma system
558s to the what we came the release combat
562s system there was some changes that we
564s did to the ball some people felt the
567s ball wasn't really as good as it was
570s before we did those changes so we are
572s now basically we did another class on it
575s and we try to fix some of those issues
577s and in general the objective here was to
580s just make the bow feel much better to
584s use right we did also some like balance
587s changes but um the main point was to
589s just make shooting with the bow feel
591s good yes in general right so the bow
593s user steel power not only powerful but
596s also normally powerful because they're
597s doing more damage or they're doing good
599s damage but also because the ball feels
602s responsive it allows them to do more
604s than just you know just stay in a
606s distance and shoot and they have a bit
608s more control over what's happening but
610s right so the first thing that we did is
613s we did away with the
616s 3-shot combo right that we used to have
619s on the left Mouse virus on the light
621s attack because it used to be like just 1
623s 2 3 3 so the main point we introduced
627s that mechanism because we wanted to we
633s wanted to kind of tape her shoot and run
635s behaviors right right when we put that
638s combo system in if you're just smashing
640s like tapping the left mouse button on
641s the crazy you would actually get the
644s combo and the second shot in the combo
646s was fast but the third shot was slow and
650s more powerful yeah right which serve
653s different purposes not only can you get
654s a powerful shot out of that but also you
657s can have a fast second shot so you could
659s do one twos right so what we have done
661s is we have removed a system because a
663s lot of people felt it was restrictive
666s they didn't like the delay especially
668s between the second and third shot so we
670s have basically removed the combo and
674s kept only one shot and here is what used
676s to be the second shot
678s it is the fastest of the three and it
681s also recovers faster than the only shot
683s that we used to have right the rest of
685s the shot properties remain completely
688s unchanged right you still shoot a pretty
691s pretty parabolic trajectory it doesn't
694s really have a lot of reach you can do
696s bounces and stuff like you're saying if
698s you have you know a magazine I should
699s mention that currently I'm playing with
701s a bill that has all the accuracy in the
704s world so any ranged weapon any range
706s attack will bounce off the first surface
709s that it exists so with this hopefully
712s people will have a kind of like a quick
714s shot they can do it's not restrictive it
717s doesn't really hamper their their
718s movement because it cancels so quickly
720s and and if we have that strange delay
724s which felt like you were not really in
726s control yeah yeah so it's gonna be
727s smoother yes does the left leg on the
732s right click we have done something
734s completely different it is kinda a
737s little bit of a resurrection of some of
740s the mechanics we have doing lately
741s access yes but it's also new in other
743s ways
744s so if you want to demonstrate our charge
746s shot on the right click now it
749s for this because I like I'm expecting
752s people to go like if same thing crazy
753s when I do this so we brought back chart
757s shop or power shop as you could and yes
762s shoot this is what it looks like there

765s so the way this works is you can hold
768s down the right mouse button which puts
771s you in this chart shot stance right like
775s this if you spend enough time in charts
778s short stands your arrow will start
780s glowing that indicates that your shot is
782s now fully charged and then you can press
785s the left mouse button which is a they
788s should borrow to just shoot the arrow
791s that gets shot it does more damage
794s depending on how long you held down the
797s charge but on this mechanic is new right
799s they also didn't you so if I just do
800s like this and then immediately you can
802s still do it
803s what he's doing now he's holding right
805s mouse button and then pretty quickly
807s pressing the left Mouse so you can still
810s do a shot and it will do more damage
813s depending on how long you have before
815s but otherwise it is a normal shot right

821s charged though then you get a new type

842s because the trajectory is flatter it has

867s the right mouse button to go into charge
869s mode and the end you can personally most
872s wanted to shoot yes if you hold it for

908s is the left trigger right so you can
911s basically aim with the right trigger
913s going to iron science mode if you want
915s to think of it that way yeah and then
917s shoot with the left trigger or with the
919s right bumper which is the equivalent to
921s left like right attack yeah yeah so we
924s thought that it was to be I mean weird
926s I mean of kind of like a finger tangle
928s thing to have to use the right bumper to
931s shoot driving you you have the right
933s trigger to all because a lot of people
934s are used to the the regular FPS dialogue

937s left left trigger right Rick the person
940s again you will have the I know site on
942s the right or the left trigger it depends
943s some of the weapon as well trying to
945s pose this way organ or way but we have a
947s shortcut now where we can do that right

988s not those are okay it's more about how
992s using the ball feels does the problem

996s these new types of arrows which cover
998s gap today in the progression of damage
1001s to the game and they have new functions
1003s like explosions and gas and light and
1005s stuff so in general the the repertoire

1009s of things you can do with the bow it's a
1011s much larger than before right so yeah
1013s but then we'll thralls and MPC's also be
1016s using I assume that they will be using
1019s the new types of shot as well yes NPCs
1021s will charge shots right and they have
1023s full charge properties hmm there's a
1026s little bit of randomness on how long
1028s they hold the charge but yeah they're
1031s they know how to use this and they will
1032s use it right watch out yeah
1035s also an important thing is just hold a
1038s right click just don't shoot okay keep
1041s it that way yeah now it's fully charged
1042s and you can keep holding it but it's
1045s consuming the stamina yes just like in
1049s real life
1049s yeah and I mean if you run a stamina you
1053s will actually get out of eyesight mode
1054s you can just wait and you will happen
1056s right yeah okay so this is so people
1058s cannot you know hide in a bush in the
1059s distance and then span spend a minute
1063s holding down a snapshot on someone right
1065s you have to be yeah they're a little bit
1067s more reactive than that right it's still
1069s really generous but well you know I also
1073s have exact condo grids
1076s Yeah right that you have almost 40 grit
1077s like if I let's just hit reset see what
1079s happens
1080s wait okay so now I have how do we down
1082s more but it's okay I have ten ten grit

1100s that is there to punish people for
1102s holding the ball too long it's more a
1104s way to stop that kind of like Campea
1106s snipe behavior right if you want it's
1108s not cool but you need to aim kind of
1111s fast yeah I'm sure there are some people
1113s that are much better at aiming than I
1114s was when these coming towards yes hunter
1118s led no scoped stuff we also added a few
1122s changes so we did a few changes to the
1125s mechanics of arrows themselves which I
1128s can go through have like a little and
1129s you'll see at least this so you'll
1132s quickly before you do that I just want
1134s to mention someone says in chat that
1136s they think a new biome is coming right
1137s now we're not planning on adding
1139s anymore biomes of the game we are
1141s planning on adding several more dungeons
1143s and maybe down the line we'll see and
1149s but yeah there's right now the the map
1152s is what it is and we're happy with the
1154s map being what it is but so yeah there's
1157s gonna be more dungeons but not many more
1158s biomes or stuff like that

1171s yeah this patch is gonna be on test line
1173s for for as long as we need it to be

1207s an important thing is so is that
1211s movement still affects your accuracy yes
1215s if you are strafing your shots are
1217s really inaccurate yeah this is a
1219s completely unchanged also you can you
1221s can taper this you can kind of reduce
1223s this effect by putting points in the
1225s accuracy stat but this also affects the
1228s charge shot you need to be careful
1230s you're still basically had to hold still
1233s when you're shooting not when you're
1235s charging because you can actually
1236s straight while we're charging you can
1238s move for doing this yeah I just wanted
1240s to see this but don't get hit okay okay

1301s he said we added new high tier types of
1304s arrows that did not exist before there
1306s was no fool tier progression coverage
1309s for all arrow types there was gaps so we
1311s fill the gap so now there's racer
1313s hardened steel and star metal arrows
1315s which cover the progression at high end
1317s and the high end train
1319s we also made light arrows much cheaper
1322s they do not require feathers anymore yep
1325s as we discussing in that front thread
1327s like arrows are supposed to be a utility
1329s thing they were a bit expensive to be
1334s useful as I kinda like utility gimmick
1336s yeah so we made them very cheap to make
1338s so no feathers you also make ten instead
1340s of one when you craft them and that's it
1344s since they are not really tools for
1348s damage they're not something that we
1349s expect people to shoot just as a normal
1351s arrow
1352s it's like that you should when you need
1353s light we reduce the amount of physical
1356s damage that they do to one point of
1357s damage and I need to clarify this if an
1361s arrow does one point of damage that
1363s doesn't mean your shot does one point of
1365s damage because not like it doesn't do
1367s like one HP or damage no yeah because
1369s when you shoot an arrow you get some
1371s damage from the bowl and some damage
1373s from the error right this is so you can
1375s shoot the best arrow in the game with
1378s shooting the worst arrow sorry the best
1380s ball in the game can shoot the worst
1381s arrow in the game so if you want the
1384s absolute best shot you can do you need
1386s the best ball and the best arrows right
1387s so light arrows and snake arrows which
1390s we have also changed now do the bare
1393s minimum which is one point of physical
1395s damage light arrows they don't do more
1397s damage the set all right a snake arrows
1399s still apply poison because the main
1402s function of his neck arrows was to apply

1450s normal crafting station yeah right which
1452s will solve the issue with requiring
1454s favor but not it looks like most people
1457s in chat are using snake arrows and
1459s nothing else I know we know this and
1462s this is why we decided to not only
1464s reduce the physical the physical damage
1468s of a snake arrows the main function
1470s remains poison application right yeah
1472s but also give players more options to
1475s off high damage arrows that they can use
1477s an alternative when they cannot really
1480s count on applying multiple stacks of
1481s poison right yeah poison damage is only
1484s powerful when you stack it high yeah you
1486s might not be able to stack it high right
1489s if you can help someone with a star
1491s metal arrow or to shot someone with the
1493s stand metal arrow mm-hmm you probably
1495s want bother with poisoning right but if
1498s you know you cannot land those two shots
1500s to kill then you might want to go for
1502s poison right it's all about giving
1503s people options right I snake arrows were
1506s just too good at everything something
1510s else we did as well we we also increased
1513s the cost of making gas arrows which we
1515s also felt were really powerful for their
1518s price right we are ok with gas and
1521s explosive arrows being powerful they
1523s were made to be powerful right but the
1525s cost of making them needs to represent
1528s we high power right gas arrows were too
1531s cheap to make so we make them a bit more
1532s expensive to make well question from the
1536s chat will higher priests will hype high
1538s tier priests
1539s use the cost of crafting sneakers I
1541s believe so yeah they reduce the cost of
1543s crafting anything in the station okay
1545s good I believe so yeah there was also
1549s another question from sirs ay'm asking
1551s are the blunt arrows not working and not
1553s doing damage to throats as far as I know
1555s that is intended that they are supposed
1558s to knock out NPCs and it is intended
1560s behavior of the blunt arrows to knock

1568s remember this correctly they modify the
1570s damage of the bow as well so it does
1573s stand damage oh you do not get a single
1575s point of physical damage or a damage is
1576s done damage the stem damage Dustin
1579s doesn't show in the health bar sure
1581s you've managed to do enough and the MPC
1584s goes unconscious you don't do enough and
1586s MPC has full health so it is it is
1589s supposed basically a remote trenchant
1592s right it does what the role of those
1594s arrows are so in that regard
1595s yeah they're not supposed to do damage
1597s and they would not do normal damage okay
1598s yep you know healing arrows we also we
1604s also conduct rebalance and these ones we
1607s actually make cheaper to make right
1608s because they were they required our own
1610s powder and we thought it was excessive
1613s for a healing arrow right so we made
1616s those cheaper and we made all the
1619s special arrows all of them every single
1621s one of them we made them lighter right
1623s that was also a point of feedback that
1627s we got that they were too heavy and they
1629s were too niche so we made them the ones
1631s that are supposed to be nice we made
1632s them cheaper right and the ones that are
1634s not we balance them properly and we made
1637s them all lighter so the weight is just
1639s not a factor right that's not the thing
1640s right now it's not something we use to
1643s balance them against each other anymore
1645s okay yeah I think we cover everything
1648s for both I think we did again another
1651s question from the chats are there
1653s changes coming to the poison potion
1655s that's a mouthful as it is hard to use
1657s in combat since you have to open a menu
1659s to reapply a new potion every time maybe
1662s we we agreed that you seemed poison is
1667s very cumbersome right
1671s we need to find a good way to simplify
1673s Poisson application that's it okay we
1677s would like to drink poison be something
1679s that people use more often than just to
1681s us make arrows but actually you know the
1683s fantasy you're having daggers that apply
1684s poison use a very strong fantasy oh yeah

1688s figure out how to handle the user

2200s auto-correct you're aiming right in

2205s was put in place to make it easier for

2211s that system is that is making decisions

2393s bow and a lot of throwing axes then use
2395s as like put as many points into accuracy
2398s as possible like building and accuracy
2400s character essentially no throw me next
2402s damage is also very pretty decent it's
2404s definitely a source of damage you can
2406s use especially when you're trying to hit
2407s people running away from you or people
2409s trying to guide you or people trying to
2411s adjust you with a spear right it's and
2413s it applies now crippled regardless of
2416s what you hear so you can be a bit
2417s careless with this and there at the body
2419s mass basically and you have a very
2422s strong counter to speed shenanigans for
2424s example right corpo shenanigans which
2426s will show up there will be motion more

317s released a new test light patch with a
319s bunch of new fixes and some new content

327s live patch we released a new separate
331s test lab client basically what that
333s means that if you already own Coenen
336s exiles on Steam
337s you now have two separate things that
339s you can install download install and
342s then play one is just called Conan exile
343s and the other is called Conan excels I
345s think it's test like client or just test
347s life and that allows you to just launch
352s whatever we whatever build we have um
354s test live and then play that and the
357s stuff that's on test live is stuff
360s that's slightly in the works still but
363s it's stuff that we figured that we
365s should allow the community to play
366s around with and offer us some additional
368s testing because like we still do a lot
370s of testing ourselves but this is a way
372s for us to see how some of these things
374s work in the wild sort of before we
377s person to live the pet system what's on
379s test live for example the newest roll
381s hunger stuff was on test live so those
383s are like examples of things that will go
385s to test live first and then to the live
387s version after we've iterated on it and
389s we've patched in your feedback and like
392s gotten your bug reports and why
393s Palestine and you can always access the
396s test life stuff from your normal

398s you have to switch the the type in the
402s steam or whatever you are you you would

406s download the patch and then download
408s again when you want to go back to your
409s game and it's a it's a time-consuming

413s client so you can basically keep access
415s to your normal character and test things
418s in test life we have a minimum hassle

425s give you guys the ability to just
427s quickly jump between the two and then of
429s course if you're if you're running a
431s private server you can easily set up a
432s private server for your test log client
434s as well and then people can switch back
436s and forth on yep it's convenient it is
439s really really nice hopefully with this
441s we will get more people to try the test
443s life stuff yes get more ice on it and
446s get more feedback on it so we can react
448s to things we am putting them outside yes
450s and then people will be able to do this
453s without having to sacrifice whatever

537s waiting for a long time we have been
538s waiting for a long time to be able to
540s put this in front of you and they are
542s the long-awaited changes to the ball of
546s mechanics yes right people were not we
550s have done a couple of iterations already
551s on the mechanics of the bowel people
553s were not completely satisfied when we
555s moved from the early access coma system
558s to the what we came the release combat
562s system there was some changes that we
564s did to the ball some people felt the
567s ball wasn't really as good as it was
570s before we did those changes so we are
572s now basically we did another class on it
575s and we try to fix some of those issues
577s and in general the objective here was to
580s just make the bow feel much better to
584s use right we did also some like balance
587s changes but um the main point was to
589s just make shooting with the bow feel
591s good yes in general right so the bow
593s user steel power not only powerful but
596s also normally powerful because they're
597s doing more damage or they're doing good
599s damage but also because the ball feels
602s responsive it allows them to do more
604s than just you know just stay in a
606s distance and shoot and they have a bit
608s more control over what's happening but
610s right so the first thing that we did is
613s we did away with the
616s 3-shot combo right that we used to have
619s on the left Mouse virus on the light
621s attack because it used to be like just 1
623s 2 3 3 so the main point we introduced
627s that mechanism because we wanted to we
633s wanted to kind of tape her shoot and run
635s behaviors right right when we put that
638s combo system in if you're just smashing
640s like tapping the left mouse button on
641s the crazy you would actually get the
644s combo and the second shot in the combo
646s was fast but the third shot was slow and
650s more powerful yeah right which serve
653s different purposes not only can you get
654s a powerful shot out of that but also you
657s can have a fast second shot so you could
659s do one twos right so what we have done
661s is we have removed a system because a
663s lot of people felt it was restrictive
666s they didn't like the delay especially
668s between the second and third shot so we
670s have basically removed the combo and
674s kept only one shot and here is what used
676s to be the second shot
678s it is the fastest of the three and it
681s also recovers faster than the only shot
683s that we used to have right the rest of
685s the shot properties remain completely
688s unchanged right you still shoot a pretty
691s pretty parabolic trajectory it doesn't
694s really have a lot of reach you can do
696s bounces and stuff like you're saying if
698s you have you know a magazine I should
699s mention that currently I'm playing with
701s a bill that has all the accuracy in the
704s world so any ranged weapon any range
706s attack will bounce off the first surface
709s that it exists so with this hopefully
712s people will have a kind of like a quick
714s shot they can do it's not restrictive it
717s doesn't really hamper their their
718s movement because it cancels so quickly
720s and and if we have that strange delay
724s which felt like you were not really in
726s control yeah yeah so it's gonna be
727s smoother yes does the left leg on the
732s right click we have done something
734s completely different it is kinda a
737s little bit of a resurrection of some of
740s the mechanics we have doing lately
741s access yes but it's also new in other

933s trigger to all because a lot of people
934s are used to the the regular FPS dialogue
