I am saddened to see the post that only 3 people were playing crucible a given time today. II have wanted this game to succeed. I make posts with constructive criticism in the feedback post and get no replies. I have written ideas such as a dynamic leveling system that will add a much needed spark to this game. I have tried to support this game and would like to continue, but something really needs to change to save this game. Minimaps, voice lines, a new map, balance, emotes, skins, etc... are not going to do it. Why do the devs seem to only listen to the few people who enjoy this game in its current state and ignore those that don't really play, but want to see the game succeed and would comeback if it is changed for the better? There have been hundreds of ideas thrown around by the community addressing the combat overall, the melee, the audio, etc, damage stats UI. They seem to be ignored and all we hear about are the roadmap issues that won't make the game exciting. Yes those changes are needed, but the core combat needs to be addressed first. Then you should make changes such as balance, map adjustments based off of the combat changes. Let's be real, the combat is just not good enough in it's current state. At the end of the day, I still want you all to succeed, but the road map is still turning a blind eye to the main issue of the game.

There are a lot of free to play games coming out right now. Crucible needs to find an identity an run with it. Right now it can't compete with the plethora of free to play shooting games releasing every week without a unique niche. (Hyperscape, Rogue Company, Valorant, Shinobi Striker was given away free for a day and is only $10, Rocket Arena dropped to $5, The Paragon Successor Fault just launched, etc)

Again here is an idea that can help this game's combat evolve into a dynamic game. Also i gave examples in the comments below. Please take time to read and visualize how cool the game would be with a system like this. https://www.reddit.com/r/PlayCrucible/comments/hm5ino/examples_of_how_i_think_leveling_should_work/

Hey Jay! Sorry if you feel that you haven't been heard by us, but I promise we're listening :) . We've definitely heard the concerns over the feel of combat. Improving the feel of combat is on the roadmap, is something we've updated in the last few patches, and is something that we'll be continually working on. We do appreciate the ongoing feedback - especially on the changes we've been making and what we can continue to do.
