Was in Fenners chat the other day when he had devs in and they said If I made a video breaking down how I think Kirri could be changed theyd check it out so here goes nothing.
Ill summarize some of it below but I also have a video link included with things I think could be better about her kit which includes a few demonstrations and maybe even a tip or two throughout. Ive also seen some of the issues other Kirri players are having and took some of them into consideration. This comes after 90 hours of gameplay 99% Kirri. Elaborations and demonstrations in the video..
A - Identify what Kirris identity is
Utility based support - Assasin - Bruiser and use said identity to dictate her role in a teams comp.
B - QOL
1 - Allow Kirri to swap between weapons more seamlessly without delay the way she can when using 1 sword swipe into quick smack. This would allow her to get more DPS without changing her numbers since you could do things like 2 sword swings, Melee, (swap) shoot shoot. More inputs overall which keeps the skill cap in place but doesnt just throw stats at her to fix the dps issues her kit brings.
2 - Allow double tap on disrupting strike which would allow you to use it in close quarters situations. Tapping disrupting strike a second time during its windup should allow you to end it early so you can account for repositioning or long battles where youre already inside but it cooled down. Right now the move requires you to aim it at thr ground in order to do a shorter version that lands close to where you start.
3 - The sword range perc seems essential for sword usage. Especially with things happening in force dome like.. Getting smoked, flashed, hacked down, chasing Mendosa in circles, getting spun on by Summer, Getting blown out by Earl, Getting uppercutted by Raji etc.. Missing out on damage because you were slightly out of range hurts her DPS very badly. It feels like the perc range for her sword should be the normal range. I think ive seen this on another post here also.
4 - Strike to the heart should also apply vulnerable. 80 damage with a 8.5 bleed over 3 minutes isnt scary enough. Players in the know just fight you back knowing all she has left after that is some slashes from that range. Not to mention the silence is so short that your next action can make or break a flank. if you force dome you now gotta deal with the stuff i listed above before you can stack damage. If you sword while theyre silenced you only get 80+130 before they escape or fight back with more damage. If it applied vulnerable itd make letting her flank you far more punishing.
C - Kit Synergy
I feel Kirris kit isnt fully iun sync since her shield requires a error from the opponent for it to deal back meaningful damage. Half of the matchups it only blocks damage.. Because you cant also deal damage while blocking it only serves as a stall tactic or a one time denial for things such as Draks Enraged Claw or Ras uppercut.. Not impactful enough when characters like Summer will burn you for longer than you can hold your shield up, Drak will spin on you or Bug will drop poop on you and zap you from angles around the shield anyway. Others that the reflext would work against can just opt to stop shooting till its down which in those cases you gain no ground because you could deal damage while they werent shooting you. So is this ability supposed to just buy time for teamates to arrive or to protect teamates? If shes supposed to be supporty thatd be fine.. If he were supposed to be a bruiser why not give her like a deteriorating 300 shield while the shield is up? Thatd give her a temporary 1100 health total which is what the more mobile and more damaging Drak has at all times. If shes more so Assasin then allow her to reflect all projectiles so she can win that isolated 1v1 more consistently..
