Howdy all!

We have seen a fair amount of reports from players not being able to play the game on PC since Fate of Iberia was released. We think we have identified the issue and are working on a fix. People who are affected are likely those with a an older set of CPUs. These issues are mostly affecting CPUs that do not offer AVX support

These are the CPUs we have identified so far:
  • Intel Pentium G4560 (2017)
  • Intel(R) Core(TM) i5 CPU 750 @ 2.67GHz (4 CPUs), ~2.7GHz (2009)
  • Intel(R) Core(TM) i7 CPU 960 @ 3.20GHz (8 CPUs), ~3.2GHz (2009)
  • Intel(R) Core(TM) i7 CPU 970 @ 3.20GHz (12 CPUs), ~3.2GHz (2010)
  • AMD Athlon(tm) II X3 450 Processor (3 CPUs), ~3.2GHz (2010)
  • Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU X5675 @ 3.07GHz (24 CPUs), ~3.1GHz (2011)
  • Some Pentium and Celeron CPUs (Intel) pre-Tiger Lake (Affected: 2019 and back)
  • All pre 2011 CPUs (as that is when AVX came out)
For people with a CPU listed above (or from similar gen), it is not currently possible to run the game without rolling back to a previous versions.

We are aware of the situation and testing fixes as quickly as possible. This fix will hopefully be finished testing in the coming week as it is a critical issue. In the meantime, we are asking any affected players to roll back your game version if possible as this shows the highest success rate for continued play.
