Unfortunately, saves are almost never compatible between major updates. You can however still complete your current campaign by rolling back to 1.6.1.2 via the betas menu in Steam.

This is an additional feature that will be added in a free update at a later date, same as it was on the PC edition. Unfortunately, every extra piece of content needs to be ported to Consoles before being released, so it's a matter of time. We appreciate your patience.
@WynneCrusader We apologize that you're experiencing this issue again. We are in the process of applying a hotfix, however, due to the timing of this issue, it will likely take until early next week to be applied to the game properly. For now we have a beta branch available on Steam (1/2)
@WynneCrusader Opt into this beta branch by right-clicking on CK3 in your Steam library, selecting Properties, then choosing "avx_issue_hotfix" from the dropdown under the Betas category.Please note that MP will not be available if you want to play with someone who is not on the branch (2/2)
