This bothers me the most. I'm guessing MS has a rule to allow players to opt out of certain things, and Steam doesn't. So FS is going to force Steam users into the larger mix bc they aren't entitled to opt out. It's complete BS, and they know what they're doing. It's going to artificially bolster player interaction in the game so create the illusion it's lively.

It wouldn't be an illusion seeing another community of PC gamers. They'd be real players, playing on a PC, just on a different store front. Zero downsides to it, no?

Are you aware of how the upcoming add friends and social options will work on Steam?
I assume we will only be able to see MS users in the social tab inside the game itself.
MS Store and Steam users will share the Mourningstar and social tabs.

Steam users should be allowed the same opt-out function as MS users.
It's feedback I can pass on, just let me know why you'd want to close the door so I can be better informed when doing so.
