Dearest Heroes, Skaven, and Rat-Slayers Alike,

It is with bittersweet feelings that I write this post. March 29 will be my last day at Fatshark as I move into the next stage in my journey.

As many of you know, I received cochlear implant surgery in late 2022; around the same time I started graduate school. The process wound up being more of a roller coaster than expected, and I put my Master's program on hold. After some time to consider, I have elected to continue graduate school full-time this coming fall, and wanted to give myself some time to prepare once again for this next stage in my life.

Vermintide has played a large part in my life since I first began playing Warhammer - End Times: Vermintide on Playstation 4 in 2017. In 2018 I began moderating this very subreddit, and then met my now partner playing Vermintide 2 in 2019. I have never wanted anything more than to see this community happy and thriving, and aimed to increase the game's communication with the community when I was hired as a community manager and consultant at Fatshark in late 2022.

Through this, it has allowed me to me grow closer to you all, listen to your needs, what you want in the game, what you don't want, and pass those back to the team to help them craft a better game for years to come. Your game.

Between the return of favorite Vermintide 1 maps, Necromancer, and Versus; you all have really seen and achieved a lot; and the Vermintide 2 team has so much in store for you this year and I know they won't disappoint you.

I will be hosting a community stream by donning "the jacket" one final time Friday, March 29, 11am ET/4pm CET, and would be honored if you all could join me in some rounds in Vermintide 2 and Darktide during my final hours in the shark tank (and make fun of my "gamer faces" one final time :) ).

I love you all, and never stop telling us what you want to see in the game and where you want it to go. And who knows, maybe you'll see me again in the future! <3

Thanks for everything, and see you all on the other side of the game soon!

Stay toasty, Darlings!
