Greetings Slayers!

Welcome to the Focused Feedback thread were we pick a particular topic of interest for everyone to share their thoughts with the community as well as the developers. It's been a while since we've done one of these, but we hope to make this a recurring theme to encourage more open communication between the developers and the community in the subreddit!

Our topic for this week: Torgadoro

It's been more than a week since Torgadoro debuted with the recent Blaze Escalation update. And I'm sure many of you have had the opportunity to fight the behemoth. Some of you even completed its mastery in less than a week 😮! (credits to u/M4RC05GB). With that in mind, here are some guide questions to get you started on discussing about Torgadoro.

  • How does the fight with Torgadoro feel?
  • What did you think of Torgadoro's moveset?
  • What are your thoughts on its gear and legendary weapons?
  • Are there some fine-tuning and adjustments to Torgadoro that you would like to see?
  • What's the one thing you like the most about the fight?
  • How does the experience fighting Torgadoro compare to Malkarion?

Feel free to share your thoughts in the comment section below. Organize and structure your feedback well and you may just receive a reply from the devs themselves! 😎

As an added incentive, for this week only, we'll be giving away a code for 14 premium bounty tokens to one lucky commentor by the end of March 31st so make sure to comment in time! And no I'm not using the code I got from the newsletter as a giveaway! :')

This thread will remain pinned until April 3rd. Until then, submissions related to the topic will be removed and redirected here. The comments will be displayed via contest mode to hide comment vote scores and to display in a randomized order to give each feedback a chance to be seen.

1.2.0 has been so exciting!! Thank you for posting this! From the marketing side I would also love to know how everyone felt about the teasers leading up to Torgadoro, so that we can do even better next time <3

Thank you so much for putting this together! I'm poking some devs to jump in here and there while this is up.

Also, thanks for all the feedback, everyone. We read all of this, and it really helps with future content creation.

I really liked the teasers a lot this time. Especially the map of the escalation with the constant updates, giving us more and more information every few days, it really kept the hype going. The trailer was also really nice, showing some of the unique attacks of Torgadoro, so we would at least have some sort of idea what we had to look out for.

It has also been very cool that we got the information about which escalation will be next on the roadmap so soon after the release of shock escalation, cause it left a lot of time for people to speculate and make their own concepts about the upcoming behemoth at the end of it.

Thanks for the info. We're trying to find that sweet spot of hype. :)

Hey all! I work as a gameplay designer on the behemoth side of things here at PHXL, and I just wanted to say thanks in advance for all the feedback. We're looking at all of it, and using it to inform tuning changes and design on our upcoming behemoths. Glad to see so many of you enjoying getting turned into a human crayon by Torg.

Just wanted to jump in here and give a major shoutout to all of you for the awesome feedback you've been providing us! :)

It especially makes me smile to see how many of you are enjoying the personality we gave Torgadoro through his VO and sound effects. We put a lot of thought into how we can best bring these behemoths to life, so it's nice to see it has an impact on your experience!
