So, I don't know if you've noticed, but there is no way to prevent friend invites.

I wasn't bothered at first, since I only get 1 or 2 friend invites a day...

but after hearing about the dozens of invites my female friends have to block every day for having a non-dude name, it's really kind of absurd that there's no option to prevent incoming friend requests.

So, please, expand on privacy options in Dauntless.

♥thx

Heya!

Thanks for weighing in :D

As the producer in charge of this feature, I'm pleased and excited to get your feedback.

If possible, could you DM me their usernames or the usernames of players that are being affected? Being able to look behind the scenes at their experience will help us tune this up and work toward privacy/visual-noise stuff :D

Thanks!

As someone who uses an Epic store gender neutral name because of these very problems in the past (in other games more than Dauntless), can we simply get the functionality they have in Fortnite, which is an option to set either 'auto decline' or 'auto accept' all friend requests?

You can then only gain friends by either disabling it or by sending invites directly.

It's also a functionality that streamers would really benefit from.

I definitely intend to figure out if we can. Knowing some of the names and getting the associated data can help us make elements of the related features even better, too. Things like looking at what the velocity of those requests are and how to "Detect" undersireable behavior
