With the introduction of the new easter event I can't help but feel like something is wrong and heading the wrong way.

With the history Dauntless has with their events, where you can get everything by farming, this event feels like a kick in the gut, not only we're getting lower quality items, the ones that are semi-decent and "worth" getting are behind a paywall. This feels like a cheap way to make a few bucks and this isn't fine. Even though the new mode is actually interesting, the mode is only worth playing if the rewards are worth getting.

I'm concerned that if the community lets the devs get away with these types of things it could generate bigger problems.

I ask the devs to please reconsider this event and make everything buyable with plat but also farmable.

I also ask why did you even think this was a good idea considering we had valentines event that everyone loved?

Thanks for all the input!

The goal of this event was to add something fun and light-hearted as an alternative to the usual hunting experience. We wanted to give players an opportunity to do something different and festive instead of just asking you to do the usual (kill x a bunch of times).

In that sense, it's a bit of an experiment.

I think the key takeaway here (for me) is separating the platinum rewards from the non-platinum rewards. It doesn't feel good to have these in the same spot, which has caused some confusion. If you accidentally used your plat, please write into support for a refund. They can help you out!
We also need to discuss alternate routes to premium rewards OR having free rewards that are on par with them.

Another key takeaway is the number of rewards. Coming off of Saintbond, it feels a bit odd to dial back the amount of loot you can earn. This is in part due to us having prior years of content to provide in that event. We understand that this is a bit jarring, and we're discussing it internally.

Unfortunately, it's a long weekend so we will most likely visit these discussions next week. The good news is we will have another Focused Feedback post about this event. PLEASE come by and provide your opinion there. We will be there collecting vibes and making sure the next event is an improvement.

Anyways, I hope you all have a wonderful weekend. Thanks for caring and voicing your opinion. Seriously, it means a lot!
