[2020] Celebrating Saints Bond

I don't expect this to pick up much traction but I feel compelled to speak up. I'm really overwhelmed with this games positive attitude.

I recently got back into the game (xbox), after flirting with it around 6 months ago. At first the Saints Bond event appeared very daunting and i immediately assumed i would need better gear and more raw experience if I were to unlock every skin. However, I discovered Escalation shortly afterwards and suddenly my goal of unlocking all skins didn't seem so impossible.

I took to using materials i had collected months ago to craft new weapons I'd never used before (I found I really enjoyed using the Strikers and the Hammer). Given that the event allowed 1 kill to count as 2 so long as you were hunting with a friend, I was able to ask other slayers to join me whilst we were in the airship. And I succeeded. Every. Single. Time.

I completed the event in its entirety this morning. After roughly 2-3 hours gameplay per day, for 4 days. I actually did it, with plenty of time to spare too. I made a bunch of friends along the way and I gained a whole bunch of experience, both in game and out. I have to thank every slayer that accepted my invite or added me on their own behalf. I have the devs to thank for not making the event impossible without the help of micro transactions. And I have myself to thank for reinstalling this game and giving it another go.

I don't really have much else to say, other than thankyou again. To everyone. I think I'll be sticking around for the long haul and seeing how this game develops, so far so good.
