This game is still alive?

I played this game a long time ago at release, but was not very impressed. Now I don’t know what to play now and remembered its existence, but after looking through news updates and videos on YouTube a little, I got the impression that the game is more likely to stagnate and near its end than to develop and increase resources. Is this the correct impression?

Like, Warframe (for example) has become more and more popular every year since its existence, receiving huge updates and tons of content every year. On other hand i know Elite: Dangerous that over the years lost its player base, development slowed down, online dropped and eventually the game reached a state where fans are afraid that the servers will shut down at any moment.

How are things going here?
