[2023] A network connection could not be established?

I recently re downloaded the game and I have never had any issues playing this game, but now when I launch the game I can get to the home screen but every time I click play it gives me the network connection error. I have checked my firewall and the game is allowed and I have no third party anti virus running, also not connected to a VPN! Its like I am hardwired to the internet but windows doesn't realize that! Please can anyone help?
