CE's have always been a controversial topic at times, especially working in gaming retail for a nice portion of my early 20's. You would spend much more than the game to get some cheap piece of plastic that was glued to a stand or sub-par mass produced. I've had my eyes on the Dauntless CE for so long but could never justify the expense out of previous experiences. Black Friday rolled around and even though shipping pretty much made it the same price, I looked at it as "Free Shipping" and took the leap.
This is just pure quality. It's heavy, extremely detailed and well built...I just wanted to share to any others that have been on the fence that it is worth it. If they ever come out with a Behemoth collection I will be making room for the set.
We may be having issues that need to be addressed in game, but the art, design and detail placed into the world is something we all can appreciate. Seeing the Pangar outside of the game makes me realize that all over again. That is what I love most about Dauntless. Happy hunting fellow slayers!
